I've used them before for formal events. They work great, except when you sweat, and in Cabo, you will probaby get a bit sweaty.

um, yeah, the girl looked at me like I had two heads, even when I explained to her why, probably just wanted to sell me one more thing. After she said I should wear one, I wasnt' really sure so I tried the dresses on with it, but now that I know I definetly don't want to wear one, I'll just tell them next time and try the dresses without. I think I may have even liked some of them better without it because they wouldn't have been so poufy.

Thanks everyone for the great advice, I appreciate it.

You know - I think they may have people wear them so they feel a bit more comfortable trying on dresses in front of someone else.

This may be a stupid question but what is a petticoat? It sounds like a peacoat to me. LOL. I am not a big lingerie person so I have no clue what that is.

It's a thing you use under the dress' skirt to make it look puffier

Me too. Also a C cup.

I'm going to wear Spanx as well

I bought the petticoat and bra...however if I was still getting married on the beach, I would not have the petticoat, most of the dresses are big enough without it, I just have a southern belle infatuation and really wish I could be scarlett o'hara for one day of my life...so my wedding day seems to be the perfect day for that.
By the way, I picked up my dress today and I totally forgot my camera, so I have to wait till FI leaves and I will figure out how to take some pics of it for you all
