I absolutely love your dress! It's so beautiful. I would stick with something simple, once you're all dressed up in hair and make-up the dress will seem plenty dressy. Sticking with a more subtle shoe rather than something with a lot of colour will probably keep it more formal if you're concerned about being too casual.

Again though... what a gorgeous dress. I wish I had tried that one on when I was looking!

because it's not your typical full bottom bridal gown I'm worried that when I walk my feet will stick out because of the flowy material..does that make sense?

 

I want to wear heels so I do not have to alter the length of the dress but I can't find anything that "matches" the dress..I'm worried it's either too casual, or too dressy.

Awesome thank you!  I think this actually might help... I go for my fitting with the seamstress on April 26th... I will definitely ask her.

I'm doing the exact same thing. My dress is the perfect length for my 4" heels. I trip over my dress in bare feet. The alterations girl took the inside/crinolin(sp?) of my dress and pinned it up a few inches in the front. This caused the front of my dress to pouff out a bit, allowing me to walk easily...but my dress is a mermaid style with flowing tulle at the bottom. After the ceremony I'll just remove the pins.

I wore barefoot jewelry for the ceremony (as did all of my bridesmaids) and then I switched into heels for the reception! Best of both worlds!

Only a couple months until the wedding so I didn't want to have to get the dress hemmed..I have yet to try it on with the dress but I'm hoping for the best. )
