This is exactly what we did. The guys ushered all the guests to their seats. They were only suppose to help the grandmas and moms in the sand but ended up walking all the ladies to their seats. It was really sweet. I think Matt really appreciated having his guys up there with him the whole time. There's a great picture of his BM rubbing his back to help with the nerves.

I think your video was the one I watched recently then. I'll go take a look. I like how it looked with the uneven party.

our bridal party is becoming very eneven LOL

i have MTOH, MOH and 5 BM's (total 7)

FI had BM and 5 GM (total 6)

one of my BM is married to FI's GM and they just found out they are unexpectedly pregnant, they are living in Germany for work and she will be 7 months at the time of the wedding in Hawaii - 24Hrs of travel at 7 months - not looking so good right now for either one of them to be there sad.gif

then another one of FI's GM's wives is pregnant - she is due 2 weeks before the wedding. he is planning on coming without her (live in CA) but honestly if i just had a baby, i couldn't imagine FI leaving 2 weeks later so we are not counting on him right now.

one last GM story - another GM is having major financial problems in his business and his GF just left him - I know he wants to be there but I don't know if he can afford to pull it off

so we may wind up 6 on my side and 3 on his side - if we do, we will just have 2 girls walk with each guy - no big deal!

i am more sad b/c they all want to be there but may not be able too smile27.gif

After I had my first baby I wouldn't have minded FI taking off for a few days! All I did was sleep and feed the baby anyways.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
