Going on a site visit to PV and Las Caletas in 2 Weeks!!!! What are the "MUST DOs"?

Recommended Posts

I am so excited! My FI and I just booked a last minute trip to go down to PV for one week. Of course we're going to go and see Las Caletas! I just fired off an email to Kelley asking her which day would work best! I am so excited I am jumping out of my skin!

Thanks so much to Kati who alerted my to some great vacation deal websites! We booked through one of them and got a really great deal!

Please let me know what the MUST DO things are while I'm down there...the great restaurants, bars, shopping areas, site seeing, etc (obbviously Las Caletas in on the list! If there's anything anyone wants me to checkout while I'm down there for them too I would be more than happy to do so and to take tons of pictures (even though I know that JamieLynn just did an amazing site review a few weeks ago!)

This is just so overwhelming. And just in time! Yet another Toronto snow storm is coming down!

What fun, I'm jealous!! What to do besides go to LC....like Lindsay said, Vallarta Adventures has some great tours so if you have time I would take one of those. If you like snorkeling do the Marietas Islands tour - they take you out to the islands where you can snorkle or kayak, then to a deserted beach (literally nothing there) to hang out.

My must-sees when I'm there -

I always suggest eating at Barcelona Tapas because the food & views are spectacular, try to go for dinner and catch the sunset....ahhh

The Zoo Bar if you like loud music/dancing/drinking...lots of fun

Flea Market on the Rio Cuale just because it's fun & there are bargains

And make sure to walk along the malecon at night, it's gorgeous with the moon shining...can I come with? Have fun :)

I talked to Nicole and she can help you book the trip. The company Vallarta Adventures have daily tours.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
