Got the e-mail, thanks Eliana! Such a unique thing, and so simple but elegant and beautiful! I love it, just not sure I'd have the patience to do it... Then again, I guess that wouldn't fall in the realm of "bridal responsibilities" now would it? LOL.

WELCOME CATH!!!!! I'm excited, you are now the bride on here that has the closest date to mine at DPC! I'm getting married on the 12th! Well, apparently there is a wedding at 4 pm on my day (mine's at 5 pm), but I guess that poor bride hasn't found this amazing forum! Any questions you have/things you want to see, let me know, I've been accumulating information/pictures/ideas, and have been in touch with Sharron, our WC, about SO MANY things, just let me know! :0) Also, when do you arrive at the resorthuh.gif I will likely be leaving a lot of my decorations and stuff down there, so feel free to stop by our reception (Himitsu Terrace) to see what everything looks like, and you can definitely borrow anything! :0)

welcome Cath!! Did you know that you can have the resort decorate the gazebo? It comes at a fee of $300, but since I don't know if you are on a budget or not I'm not sure if that is an issue :) She could probably send you some pictures of what it looks like, or maybe a girl on here can! I am getting married on the beach, so I don't have any gazebo pictures for you sad.gif Like I said, at worst you ask the wedding coordinator :) And Tara that is so nice to leave decorations!!

Well you ladies have been SO helpful to me throughout this whole process, that I thought I'd leave most of everything down there, and anyone coming after me can feel free to use it! I just hope DPC doesn't incorporate my stuff into centerpieces of their own and then CHARGE everyone for them! My stuff is meant to be free! Haha!

Hi nsbride2010!

By any chance for you have the pricing and package information for “La Barcaza” that includes all of the different wedding options they have? Or any of you have them that would be great.

I was thinking on doing our rehearsal dinner there or just a fun day/night for the group, but they don't have prices for the packages on their website.

Could you please email them? [email protected]

Thank you!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
