Menu Cards

Recommended Posts

We are having ours at a Chinese/Japanese place, so I thought that people might like to know what it is. Also, the place only uses white or mauve tablecloths, so I am going to make menus as a way to add color on the white tables. We may also make table runners, but I def want to do menus.

Anyway, my point is, I dont think it's necessary, but if it's something you would like to do to dress up the seats. I think it's a great idea. I only been to a wedding once were there was a menu card and it is def a nice touch.

I am doing the same thing!! I know the menu cards aren't necessary for a buffet, but I wanted to do them to add color to the tables because otherwise it will mostly be just white...

Plus they can't hurt...they will be sitting in their seats before they get up to get the food...so it would be nice to know what will be up there... :)

I agree. Ours is going to be served family style at each talbe on a lazy susan. But you know how some people won't know what it is they are eating, esp when it's culturally different, so I figured menu can only help and never hurt.

I loved the ones that StephanieMN posted not too long ago, from vistaprint.

I'm going to do menu cards for the rehearsal dinner, b/c it's a sit-down ... but not for our beach reception, which is a buffet. The resort will usually have little cards in front of each tray with an explanation of what everything is. I'd check with your WC to be sure...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
