MrsG2B..... so it seems they have taken away from having anything private or semi-private for that matter for the 30ppl included dinner reservation.... So they will prob just put u all together in a reg restaurant. Please keep me updated on your options and what you came up with.... I too will have small guests list...and was wondering the same thing. What about a cocktail hr so to speak extended for 2hrs or so...that would be cheaper , and maybe u can have a private space for cocktail hr... Let me know what she says I understand charging a fee to use a terrace/garden/set-up.......but charging for food/open bar at an all-inclusive resort is the most ridic thing ever in my opinion. ....we are all guest at the resort our food/drinks are included why charge me for hor'd or other food...... Let me know which restaurants she said you can use for FREE.....and what the costs are for less than 20 guests to use terrace etc.... I still wanna have first dance/speeches/cake even tho I'm having less than 20 ppl....so being in a restaurant is not gonna work for that. Shan0487- I know you used the comp wedding ceremony...what color is that structure they used? black or brown? also did they have chairs that match the structure when you were going over options? I was going back n forth with Dreams n Moon..... Dreams hotel rates were soooo much better....but their wedding collections they had none...I love the Collin pkgs at Moon...... Im still undecided......I have time tho..... Did u think Dreams hotel rates was way better than Moon??? im thinking of my guests....

yes, its just Dreams Cancun...

tell me all about Dreams.... that's my #2 right now... the prices seem much lower from Moon Palace...but I like Moon wedding collections!!! Dream don't have any...u basically have the Gazebo which is pretty but next to the pool.. I was looking at the Ultimate pkg... what info did u find out on this?? where can u have the private CH and Reception? do they use just basic tables and white chairs for CH/Reception set up.... Any pics to share!

I like the idea of 2 wedding Anni....lthe legal date and DW date Something else I thought about..... I know we say the legal in the states is just paperwork etc...but really... it's not... Now, what if something happened before your DW.......now... it WOULD really matter..and it will NOT just be about paperwork. So, that 1st wedding date...is VERY IMPORTANT

we will do legal a few days before our DW in Mexico.....we debating rather to tell anyone...don't wanna take the joy from our parents/others if they knew we got married a head of time.... and we debating what date to celebrate as our Anniv....so if we pick legal date then we will tell them later on...months later.... If we pick DW date...then it won't matter and we never have to tell...

I feel if we tell them....then it takes the excitement away......but all depends on what date u are gonna say or celebrate your Anniv..... if its the DW date....then keep it between you/hubby....and especially if u think its gonna be some negative backlash. Now, if u are gonna celebrate the legal ceremony as your Anniv...then yea eventually u have to tell them...but wait til later on...months later....

keeping it intimate with only immediate family as to keep the cost down.....my FI said my friends and other relatives feelings might be hurt... this is what I say..... If I come to you and say.... Hey we're getting married guys...buts its gonna be a DW with only immediate family..... they have to respect that!!.... then I will say..... when we get back..we'll have a celebration of our marriage with a small reception at our home..... I see nothing wrong with this... what ya think?

So your anniversary will be the DW wedding date, not the legal date?....im torn with that one.... my FI don't wanna tell no one about the legal at home, he thinks will take away from the DW ceremony.... but should we tell them later on....so they know what our official real anni date is ( the legal one ) Ladies, give me ur thoughts on this please Kellisbaby, so how soon are u getting married at home before the DW ceremony...within days or months of each other??

those that are getting married at home first...then having symbolic in Mexico.... so what date will u celebrate as ur Anni date??? Im torn.... I want it to be the same...but no way to get around that... I don't wanna do the paperwork n blood work in Mexico.... and we kinda didn't wanna tell our parents we getting married at home before the Mexico trip...kinda takes away from the excitement I think... whats ur thoughts?
