    For those that received a "credit" for not having a cocktail hour- What did your guest do while you and your hubby were off taking pictures? Also, based on previous posts, is it safe to assume the Seaside Grill is free IF your reception is after 6-6:30????

    Thanks for the breakdown! This is helpful. I was searching the thread for something like this or an invoice someone uploaded. I know someone uploaded their invoice in the NowJade thread and one other place so I guess it isn't THAT taboo...lol.

    After doing a little more research it seems as though it is a small fisherman's town. There aren't any beachfront restaurants like in Playa since the citizens work hard to prevent the area from becoming "commercialized".

    Are there any nice beachfront restaurants that can host a recption in Puerto Morelos? I love Dreams RC however if we have more than 30 people the budget will get out of hand. I'm in need of alternatives. I know there are nice ones in Playa but based on the map that ride maybe more than I'm willing to have everyone sit for. I'm guessing its at least a 30 minute ride.

    For those of you who used the resort's photographer, could you please upload a few pics along with the name of your resort/company's name? Video links are welcomed too! Recently I've noticed brides (myself included) looking all over for this information with efforts to try to save money on outside vendor fees. Hopefully this thread will serve as a "one stop shop" for picture samples.

    Since all the Riu resorts have the same packages...which package did you choose? Did you select a package that included less than your anticipated guest count?

    Haven't book yet. Its between Royal PDC and Riu Palace RM. We are waiting on a few final figures.

    Is the budget for 7 nights? A suggestion would be to have your TA prepare a package for 5 nights and give your guests the option to add additional nights. That way your package won't sticker shock them. Hope that helps!

    Welcome! I've looked into Wicky's. They are pretty reasonable-plates start at $45. I've heard tgey are 3-4 short blocks away from the resort which is a plus.

    Are these restaurants in walking distance from certain resorts or will transportation be needed? We are looking at Riu RM and Royal Playa del Carmen.

    Wait! Are you saying they refused to remove the BS charge? They want you to make believe its a set up fee when the line on the invoice says "champagne and cake"? I think my BP just went up!

    The more I research the honeymoon registry...the more I like it. We would like to switch resorts after the wedding and this is a good idea to offset the cost.
