    I was wondering exactly the same thing as far as when to start my planning. I'm far from done but I do have A LOT done. I'm getting so excited seeing it all come together! Last night I finished putting our personalized DIY chapstick labels on. They look awesome. Hope your weekend projects went well... looking forward to seeing your planning thread!

    interesting!! what exactly do you mean by attaching stones? wouldn't stones sink? im interested in doing this so i'd love to better understand how you will keep them from floating away

    Thank you so much. He's such a ham... I figure even if no one can really read the sign it will still be cute and hopefully the photographer can snap just one cute pic of him holding it.

    Wow.. Pockets is awesome! I have a couple dresses that have pockets and you would never know it looking at them so its like the best little surprise.

    Great idea on your dress! Your dreams are hilarious! I've bad dreams too but I can't recall exactly what they were I just know I had some. You crack me up though- the one about not getting into the dress until cake is funny! I think my guests will be hot but I think it will be fun enough to get over it. I on the other hand could stand in a sauna for hours and still not sweat.

    Oh my gosh that's exactly what I say all the time! I'm always saying "how hard can this be... They do like 200 weddings/ year it seems!! Just put together a packet of available options!"

    You girls all bring up a great point that its an all inclusive resort!! You definitely shouldn't worry about it and just let your guests go grab a drink at a bar or something until the reception. If I didn't have mine free trough my GI wedding coordinator that's what I would do. No need to pay for that at an all inclusive resort!

    Yeah I booked DJ Doremixx. I asked Ivan (the main DJ) and he said he brings an assistant to set up. The assistant won't be able to get in the resort so that's why I just did the vendor fee vs 2 ppl in a 3 night room which would be more expensive and also a headache to ask Ivan to know who he will be bringing etc.

    I am having one but it was included in my package somehow.. I forget how. I think it's bc when I booked the special was 20% off private event Food and Bev and free cocktail party.... However... currently Karisma is running an Unlimited Free Private Events special for brides that book after November 2012. Maybe you qualify for that??... That is a lot of ppl and the costs do add up, so I totally understand what you mean! I think if you intend to be able to pictures after the ceremony you kind of need to have one so your guests have something to do, but if you do your pictures ahead of time then everyone can just head to the reception together! This of course, would require you to have your FI see you before the ceremony so that pics are done.

    Interesting! Thanks. I can't believe shipping was so expensive... that's nuts! Maybe we won't be doing Studio Suits afterall... or if we do maybe we will order everyone's suits at once and save everyone else the shipping.

    wow.. just for pants? yeah we priced this suit at about 150 (i think) for pants vest and jacket...if i remember correctly. very reasonable!

    ooh i cant wait to see your ring bearer pillow. Yes... it is the home stretch! Looks like our weddings are just about a week apart! I have been working on the same things lol. I just finished barefoot jewelry for my bridesmaids and niece as well! How funny. For my ring bearer (our son) I made a wooden sign that says "Daddy Here Comes Your Bride!" It's so cute. I've been letting him "practice" lol but he is only 18 months.
