  1. I have always booked all my traveling on my own but when it came to booking over 45 people for my wedding I left that up to Wright travel! When any of my guests had questions they went directly to Wendy my travel agent instead of me getting a million phone calls and e-mails. Also by booking a group I was able to gain a few thousand dollars credited back to me along with free room upgrades (this also depends on the resort you are booking)!
  2. Thanks! Del Sol does amazing pictures!!!! I always wondered where they did their TTD sessions! Do you know where it was? Thanks!
  3. Check out Wendy Hicks reviews: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/60163/amazing-bdw-travel-agent-wendy-hicks-i-highly-recommend-her
  4. Use Wright travels.....they are the ones who put this website together! I worked with Wendy from California and she has been AWESOME to work with!!!!!! If you want more details don't hesitate to ask!
  5. Any advice on which place I should do my TTD session? It is between Dos Ojos or Hidden Worlds....any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!
  6. ChocoTaco, Yes! I will definitely be looking out for this because I wanted to have some pictures taken here as well!! I will let you know where it is upon my return.
  7. Less than one month away until I will be getting married at the Now Jade! If anyone has any questions or would like me to find anything out for you while I am there please let me know!
  8. Do you have any places I can get a van and driver for the day to pick us up and go to this location? Thank you for your help!
  9. You do amazing work! I am looking to do a TTD session here and was wondering if they have changing rooms to change into my dress there? Does it usually get really crowded there and how is the lighting? Thanks!
  10. Vanessa, Congrats! I see you are getting married in less than a month! How exciting! I will be getting married on June 1. I see you are going with an outside photographer and was wondering if you are going to be doing a TTD session? I am bringing my own photographer and was going to go to a cenote for our TTD but am trying to find out what the best locations are and how to get there. If you have any other info let me know! Thanks!!!!
  11. How far from Cancun is this place and how did you get there? So you don't have to pay full price of an excersion if you are just taking TTD pictures? Do you have more pictures of the place? Thanks!
  12. Those are beautiful pictures! Where are some of these cenote pictures taken?
  13. I am looking for a location for my Trash The Dress! Does anyone have any experiences or locations they have used for their TTD in the Riviera Maya area?
  14. If you are going with one of their packages either a white or red isle runner is included.
  15. Are you asking how much our whole wedding will cost all together including our travel, resort wedding, OOT bags, dress, accessories or just the wedding day event itself? Thanks
  16. Pilar has been very slow at responding especially since the other wedding coordinator Ana Maria is not longer there. When I booked a year ago I got a quick response by just calling the resort and speaking directly with her. That might be your best bet.
  17. LaurenR I have not been to the resort yet but I will be getting married there on June,1. From what I understood there is a sports bar that turns into a club with a dj after 10pm and is open until 1 or 2am. There are also many activities during the day. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the resort as well.
  18. Does anyone have advice on cenote locations near Puerto Morelos for a TTD session? What are some of your experiences for those who have had a TTD session at a cenote? Thanks!

  20. In what order is everyone doing their reception? I haven't really been to many weddings so I am stuck on this! I have no clue how long things will take. Do you usually have the toast before dinner or during dinner or after dinner? What time are you starting dinner? Here is what I have so far: 6:00 reception starts Introduce wedding party Couples first dance Mother son dance Father daughter dance Some Dancing Toast 7:00 Dinner Cake Cutting Dancing 10:00 reception ends What are your thoughts?
  21. Hey Kerri! I put a timeline of how my wedding day is scheduled but it is always best to get everything done sooner than later because you never know what can be thrown your way! My ceremony starts at 4 but I am getting my hair and makeup done at 11:30. They said it takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes and that is if they are running exactly on time! You also don't want to be rushing around getting dressed and trying to take pictures. I am having my photographer take pictures of my whole day and he said it is always best to go at a slower pace and enjoy the process instead of being rushed. Just some advice! Good luck on your big day! It will be here soon!!!!
  22. I have not completely figured out how I am packing these yet! I called the airline and they said I can bring vases in my carry on so I might do that. I would have to give one to each person to take with them. I will be bringing 5 of them. 1 for each table. I have also been saving bubble wrap from all the things I bought online! I was also thinking of buying those tight seal bags that you use a vacuum to suck all of the air out for our clothing to minimize luggage space in our suitcase!
  23. I made a picture album in my profile section for those of you who can't see the pictures I posted.
