    I received an e-mail from the coordinator too, I'm a little relieved! With the premier pkg, I believe you get transportation for yourself and 4 bridesmaids. If you have more than 4, then it's $79 each. I have read on here people who have not gone on the site check can use it as a credit for two people to come over earlier too. I am waiting for them to confirm this.

    Photo Shoot Vallarta also offers a discount if your wedding is on a weekday, so even with the fee VA charges, it's very comparable in price. What convinced me to go with them is their prompt replies. I was also able to see very recent work, whereas the VA wedding photos are out of date on the website. I asked in this forum is anyone would share their recent VA photos but no one did.

    We really wanted to stay in Bucerias so we'll be at the Decameron. Just curious - are you using their photographer or have you hired your own?

    My wedding is 3 days before yours! I won't get worried I haven't heard from them yet then...keep me posted once you hear and I will do the same!

    I'd still like to see some recent samples too...the ones on their website are older. I'm trying to decide between going with the VA photographer or another one at a comparable price so if anyone is willing to share their photos from this year that would be super helpful!

    I have the same concerns, so I would like some advice too. My wedding will be at Las Caletas, has anyone done this there (I looked at the LC specific thread already).

    Since both your weddings have passed, can you tell me if your wedding party/guests received a discount at VA? I contacted our wedding coordinator and I was told to set this up through our travel agents here...that doesn't make sense to me.

    I got the same email too. I didn't have any details set yet and there's still 5 months left so I'm waiting to start my planning with whoever takes over.

    Quick question - I saw somewhere, possibly this thread, that your wedding guests get a discount on VA tours. Do you get a special code for this that you can provide your guests ahead of time?

    Maybe try a travel agent? We booked our packages there through our travel agents and although we're not having the wedding at the Decameron, they would have put us in touch with the wedding coordinator there.

    Well said Iveitti, I knew going into it that planning a destination weddings would have it's challenges and that's the first and only negative things I've read about LC. Please let us know how yours goes! And Lesley, thanks for your post that was comforting!

    I contacted them twice, once through their website and once through a direct email and have not heard back yet. I've been waiting for a reply for over a month so it looks like we're booking Las Caletas now. They're both great locations, Martoca was just a lot closer for us since we're staying in Bucerias.
