Yes, we did go with Zuluspro. Chris has been great, we've sent emails back and forth and have discussed some of the things we are looking for (like...we want our pictures to show that we're in Jamaica, not just any beach, stuff like that). He told us that he photographed the wedding of a big Jamaican reggae singer, the pictures are amazing. I think he will do a great job! My only difficulty has been payment. The deposit requested was only 10%, but he does not take credit cards. We sent a bank wire. Don't do that, it's expensive on both ends. Ask Chris, he knows what's the best route. I am guessing that you will be in Jamaica about the same time we are leaving. Congratulations, I hope your wedding is fantastic!

I'm thinking an informal cocktail party.(meaning I don't pay, we just get together at a bar or poolside), and give them out then (if the resort won't let me put them in each room). I'd be curious to hear from brides who've already 'been there done that'.

I got my sandalwood fans at www.weddingfavorites.com. They were $0.59 each, not sure if they ship to Canada but even if they don't they are less expensive (no personalization though). I am buying a rubber stamp to personalize them (in orange!!!) Just another thought!

I got them on Amazon.com the company is called 'Imports'. The darker color is actually a deep orangish red. I can't wait to wear them. I'm adding some bling to them...it will be a while but I post them again when they are finished!

I'm getting married off site, at the Catholic Church in Negril. Reception will be at Lingah by the Sea Restaurant. I've got the reception stuff covered including a DJ but I need to provide transportation for my guests from the resort to the church and then from the church to the restaurant and then, of course, back to the resort(s) again. I decided to do a non resort wedding so that my guests could stay where they want to stay. So far things have gone well, Sonia from Lingah has been very helpful with recommendations and even contacting some of the vendors. Still feel like there are loose ends and don't know if I want / need a wedding planner. Any advice? Recommendations? Thanks!
