  1. I just got married on August 18 at Beaches Negril. You don't need to get a full steel drum band. We had 1 player during the ceremony and he was good and the price was half!
  2. Thanks! I am very pleased with quality, especially for the price!
  3. Here's my OOT bag. I purchased the bag from ingreetings.com and they did the printing of the logo. The logo was made by Allurements by Rebecca. In love with everything! (sorry for the crappy pic, but this was from my camera phone).
  4. We paid for our bridal party's attire (dress for the girls (including flower girls), pants and shirts (including ring bearer) for the guys). And we are also getting them gifts.
  5. Aww man. I found this thread too late. I would have loved to join you ladies. In the event this was rescheduled I would love to make the next one.
  6. Don't worry OP! My wedding will be 2 months away on Monday and I still have ppl who haven't rsvp'd and are asking if they can attend. As you're a little under 10 months from your wedding, you still have a lot of time for ppl to finalize their plans. Good luck.
  7. Have you given your guest the option to stay at Beaches Sandy Bay as well? That appears to the the least expensive out of the bunch (Sandals Negril, Beaches Negril, and Beaches Sandy Bay). Im getting married at Beaches Negil, but the guest have the option at staying at any of the 3 resorts (based on what fits their price point). We also have guests that are staying at other resorts, and while we are taking on the costs associated with the day passes, I am willing to do so being that I know some people have financial constraints, but are making the journey to our wedding. However, I will say that the majority of our guests will be staying at a Sandals/Beaches resort, but approximately 10 will be off the resort (not inclusive of my family in JA who I will also have to purchase day passes for).
  8. Hey there. Yes your guests can stay at Sandals Negril as well as Beaches Sandy Bay and you will get credit for their stay towards your room incentive. Just make sure that they use your group code when booking. That is what we are currently doing for our wedding in August. Good luck!
  9. I believe you can get married indoors in the event of inclement weather. I am getting married there next August, and I believe my stateside wedding planner mentioned that to me. I'm sure they are fully prepared to handle issues with the weather, so I trust that you're in good hands. Good luck!
  10. Thanks for posting this information. While I am not affected by this storm and resort closures, it's good that ppl of the forum are able to provide useful info.
  11. So sorry to hear that this has happened. I'm sure in the end you will manage to work things out. Remember, it's not the wedding, but the marriage that counts. It's probably not what you want to hear, but hope all goes well.
  12. Tayrob11 how was your wedding? Hope all went well. Please give us some feedback. Sorry if you posted already in another thread.
  13. Hi there. I am getting married at Beaches Negril in August 2012. While I have yet to visit the resort, my planner highly recommends it as she's done many weddings here. Happy planing.
