Here is my engagement ring, wedding band as well as my hubbys band!

My husband did one the day before our wedding (I wore a different dress). I didn't pay anyone to do my hair/makeup. If you have a lot of lae or ruffles in your dress I would imagine that the sand could be harmful but a cenote is fresh, clean water so it shouldn't harm your dress.

We were married at the Gran Bahia Principe Akumal and then transferred the Excellence Riviera Maya! My husband and I LOVED it there! We were very happy we decided to transfer to a second hotel!

Our room had a view of the Akumal beach, which is an extremely popular location choice. It was a gorgeous location, the walk is long but very beautiful. The wind is going to be anywhere, it wasn't as bad at the gazebo but there definitely was still a breeze. I ran into something similar a couple days before we left. There was no mention of me requiring my birth certificate and two days before we left i was told that I needed to have my birth certificate translated for them. When we arrived at the resort Jazmin told me that because my last name was different than my fathers I needed to have it translated. I would just reply to her and ask why this information is requried. Hope this info helps!

I brought in MVP to my hair & makeup which included a trial the day before my wedding. I was prepared to pay the $90.00USD fee for both days but ended up lucking out and we weren't charged the day pass, neither was the vendor. Be prepared to pay the fee but you never know you might luck out like we did!

Both dresses are gorgeous! Are you opposed to using both? One for the ceremony the other for the reception. Or even using one for a TTD or day after session?

We found individually wrapped pepto tablets at Walmart. I came across advil tablets online but ended up getting ours at Dollarama in bottles of 10 for $2.00.

Some of our guests booked in advance and I would recommend it. We didn't book in advance and were unable to make any reservations earlier than midnight. We ended up taking to Jazmin about it and she made a couple for us that were for 10:00pm.
