Thanks Nikadawn! I was planning on taking them on the place prob. in my dress bag. My FI wants me to take everyones down. I told him he is CRAZY! I have 8 girls. I was just going to have each of them take theirs with and pray no one leaves one behind!!

I am using www.plumeriaweddingflowerboutique.com for my RTF. She also has a FB page. Everyone seems to be around the same price for bouquets. Her work looks amazing. I was afraid of wilting and not being able to pick the flowers I wanted once I got down to the resort. I have 8 girls so the cost isn't going to be cheap! I'm still deceiding if I want to keep them or sell them once the wedding is over. I know my girls won't want to keep them so I may just sell theirs and the guys bout's.

I am using Plumerias wedding flower boutique as well! All of her work looks amazing. I'm in the process of picking the flowers I want, etc. Super excited to see the finished product. I was not crazy about the pictures of the resort bouquets plus I wanted to be able to keep my flowers forever and flying them back home isn't allowed through customs. Just hoping it isn't a huge pain to travel with them. Between everything else that needs to go on the plane with us I'm stressing out!

I love these. I was planning on doing these as my save the dates but have since decided to just send them out as guests book their rooms to use as actual tags.

Hey Tori! March 29, 2012 is our date at the majestic colonial! Photo Phil is booked as well now on to planning the reception and decorations. Have you decided on where you are doing your reception?

Thanks for all your help! I have seen things about phils nephew as well so that is def an option I will inquire about once I hear back from them. Hdc was the other photographer I saw did great work as well. So that would be my next option. Good luck with all your planning! My sister was just at the majestic colonial a few weeks ago (she flew home the day I got engaged) and loved it. She said there were weddings on the beach everyday.

$300 is so much more reasonable! It would cost me around $5000 to bring a photographer from home. So that is out of the question. I orginally picked 3/26 as our date but then changed my mind to 4/25. I believe both dates are already booked as far as the majestic and Phil are concerned (from what I have seen on blogs on this site). Both of those dates are significant to us and that's why we choose them. So I'm having a hard time budging. I'm still waiting to hear from the melia of either of those dates are avaiable. The melia has a beach front gazebo where the majestic doesn't. I wasn't stressed when I started planning but I'm slowly working my way there! Lol What are phils prices like?

I've read on a group onfb for melia brides the resort charges the photographer $1000 to shoot there I have emailed Phil asking I just figured maybe someone could answer quicker on here What resort did you pick? I go back and fourth with my date. Having great photos is one of the things I don't want to give up by getting married on an island.

Hi ladies! I've been desperatly searching for weddings at the hard rock that were in the gazebo. If any one has any photos. Ive seen a few of the gazebo empty. I didn't know if one was close to the beach? Also, does anyone know if outside photographers are allowed in? I read on their site that they don't allow outside vendors. But when it was the moon palace it was allowed. I really don't want the resort photographer. That scares me! I'm looking at a march 2012 wedding Reading all the forums on here have really helped.
