  1. OMG!! I love banana-superman!! don't you just want to scratch Drea's eyes out? She's such a kiss ass. Unfortunately, I've fallen off the P90 wagon, too busy and tired, and with only 2 weeks to go, not gonna lie, less motivated because there is wayyyy too much to do!! Good luck ladies!
  2. Welcome. don't worry, you've come to the right place. anything that you can think of, do a little search, and someone also thought of it!
  3. HA! That was my intention...this site will get you pretty obsessed with the goodies to put in the bags! I sorted all of mine last night, put them in freezer bags just to get an idea of what I had...I'm soooo screwed!! I forgot about some of the stuff that I bought.
  4. Now, I am absolutely convinced we made the right decision for Aruba!
  5. I'm a wimp, too many years of heels, now my feet almost always hurt, I'm glad I stand at a whopping 5'2 though. Here are mine
  6. That's what I was planning on doing, there are about 10 people staying in timeshares. Unfortunately, nobody at the RIU has bothered to email me back. And, I guess to make things worse, we're not getting married there, so I don't even have an 'in'. I do like the idea of cocktails though, That way everyone can come or go as they please.
  7. Absolutely! Most people said they saw results after a couple of weeks. Even by the time you do one of the dvd's for the second time you can see how much easier it is for you to get through the reps.
  8. Tori, Your survival bags look ammmmazing!! well done! The toppers are very cute. <sigh> you ladies are soooo super creative, I love it! It's too bad, I'm running out of time, and honestly, out of steam.
  9. I pondered the same thing. Most of my guests have been to AI resorts, so I'm pretty sure they will bring their own. I only bought a couple for my future BIL and his wife, and my MOH and her bf, because I know they haven't been AI before. I really did contemplate the room it takes up though. As much as I loved the idea, especially of the personalized ones, I know I'm going to be ridiculously over-packed. I'm taking mine though!
  10. If you look at the info on the aruba travel sites, you will be reassured, they have very little rain throughout the year. I think the worst that can happen will be a sun shower. I've been searching online for reviews, I have yet to read about a bride that got caught in the rain in Aruba
  11. Absolutey gorgeous!! I can't wait...only 20 days...
  12. Ooo...got mine last week, placed the order on Monday night, there was an error in the billing address, lost a day there, they showed up on Friday afternoon from the US! And, pleased as punch! I ordered 20 large paper parasols @ $4.00 and 45 sandlewood fans @ $1.03, plus shipping $64.46. Total of $178.17 US, had them delivered to my parents because my dad is usually home, he had to pay $27 or something in duty, COD. Plus, I googled coupon code for Asian Ideas, and found one for 10%! Service was awesome, super fast! www.asianideas.com
  13. How crazy is that? We can all say "we're getting married this month"!!!
  14. Hahaaaa!! We've been doing it as well, but man, the novelty wears off about friday afternoon, until monday! Have you done the core synergistics yet? I hate Drea....teachers pet. We usually mock her through the whole dvd, that makes it entertaining!
  15. Hahaaaaa...I've lost plenty of sleep because of VP also! I've had to resist and not go on just to 'check things out'! It's amazing how fast the time flies when you're on that site.
  16. Ladies...ordered my paper parasols from Asian Ideas on Monday, after searching for a Canadian distributor, obviously without luck, they're located in Pennsylvania, $4/each + folding wooden fans in a box $1.03/each. Even with the shipping and duty, less than ordering in Canada. I received an email on Tue that my order has shipped. Keeping my fingers crossed, hope they are all good, but if they're not...too damn bad!! They're still coming with me!
  17. They're sooo pretty! Great job! You should sell them, because there are people like me, who have zero time but have yet to find something simple that will match their dress...
  18. Torilynnsmith...I LOVE YOU!!! I dunno, last night, reading all of the threads, I was thinking, oh crap, I never thought of that, or oh crap, I don't have time...grrrrr. Your ideas for the kids were fantastic, will work on that this weekend. sigh. As for the swim bags, I love them. But, I will warn you that I cleaned out the store at the scarborough town center, and when I asked the toolbox if there were any in the back, she was very confused. Beware, not the brightest stars in there. Good luck in your search, and thanks for the support!
  19. I've never heard of the Aqua stores. The first store had the $10, which, I agree are nicer, but seriously, the $1 ones??? Who can go wrong?? They look almost the same, same colour, I believe it's a drawstring at the top instead of a zipper...big whoop!
  20. I have heard many great things about Lissy Lampe. I was already in the planning stages with Inge from the Westin. Lissy was fantastic with response time, etc. I had wished that I had heard of her before I started contacting the resorts directly. She said that she plans weddings all over the island. Glad to hear everything went well, any words of advice??
  21. Ladies, you are stressssssing me out! I leave in 25 days, get married in exactly 4 weeks!! OMG! I have no idea how I'm delivering these bags, which are becoming the death of me. Another couple booked today..yikes! I'm at 32 adults and 15 kids!!! I cleaned out the La Vie en Rose for the $1.00/swim bags, the first store I went to had $10 ones...was so confused. I need some stuff for the kids bags, 6 of them are between 9-13, and 5 of which are boys...what the...I need suggestions pleasssseeee.....
  22. Hmmm...never heard of Liquidation world, but it does sound promising! But, I went to Giant Tiger the other day, and it was very disappointing, not as great as I remembered
  23. FYI, picked up my cake topper yesterday from the post office...and it looks as great as the picture! If you go with her, you will not be disappointed!!
  24. BEAUuuuutiful! And yeah, my heart bleeds for you, tall girl...coming from a 5'2'er! can't wait to see the finished product!
