Hello girls Hope that you are all doing great and your planning is coming along nicely too! For those ladies that are getting married next...wau you all must be sooo exited!!! )) Very happy for you and hopefully after slightly stressful preparation to leave for DR, you soon will be able to relax nicely by the pool in Dreams with some tasty cocktails and enjoy! )) About replies from our WC's - mine is Yanna and she also went missing lol she sent me an email about 2weeks ago that's he will be putting together my quote for all extras etc. but i haven't heard from her since and I think it is because they might be very busy together with Tiara MissTaken Wow, you will become MRS soooo soon, you must be so excited!!! Girls, thought I will share it with you )...we have decided to change our invitations(half way through creation process lol ), cos my FI found the ones that he loved and I like them better too ) and they have RSVP cards included too, which is always handy So here are the pictures, we are planing to add some aqua colour somewhere on the boarding pass and maybe add an aqua ribbon instead of champagne...but will see, will need to consult with lovely lady on Etsy ) Tell me what you all think!!!

Charmaine....ouch £1500 - £2000 is a lot of money!!!...i can understand how you feel...:/ I am not the best person to take DIY advice from, but maybe you could try and get a peace of fabric (not big) that you think will suite your decoration and try it out on your own wall at home first??...See how it looks and if you will see that it looks great, at least you will have an option of decorating it yourself...? xoxo

Michelle thank you so much for such a kind words earlier, i don't know what would i do without you girls...)) Venting sometimes helps for sure especially when you talk to people that can relate to what you are going through! ) Charmaine - congratulations on confirming your church!!! i am sure it is gorgeous ) We want to do church blessing as well when we come back from Dominican, so will have to look into it soo! (another thing added on to do list! ) I am soooo sorry that you will have to have your MIL around for whole two weeks!!!..:/ Just stay strong and like Michelle said, try to take deep breathes and keep yourself busy...that's what i do when my MIL is coming over (which is very rarely thank god!! )... i try to pretend that i am off making tea's and coffee's and helps even more i noticed if you put something in the oven every time she is over lol....so you have an excuse to leave the room as many times i as you want..."to check on things" and stay in the kitchen until you relax before coming back again ... maybe this will help you as well Girls, do you know, we have been together with Oliver almost 5years and our parents haven't met either!!!! lol I met my MIL only over a year ago...before I found it odd when my FI would say that we should delay meeting his mum for as long as possible, he actually told me "honey, you should enjoy your peace while you can, cos after you meet her there will be no way back..."...but only now I understand exactly what he meant LOL My mum is a very open and sincere person, and my MIL is complete opposite too , just like your parents Michelle and your MIL!!! - i swear when they meet and my MIL will say anything inappropriate to my mum or any member of my family..I wont be able to control myself! ...

@Lyndsey - your shoes look gorgeose!!!! you should definitely order them!!! and you are right for taking other shoes back, you should wear shoes as comfy as possible cos you will be in them the whole day... xoxo

@Michelle, Kerry thank you girls for support...sometimes i feel that i need to vent a little, cos things get to me a bit (...to answer your questions, my uncle does know that I would love him to give me away...that's why it makes it all more upsetting...:/ But I have decided for things not to get to me that much anymore!!! Me and my FI had it with trying to please everyone (i know it might sound harsh...) but its our day and no matter what happens and who will be there we will have a blast!!! .. Spoke to my SIL today she came over to visit with the kids cos its half term and told her about everything that was happening with my uncle and MIL, and she said the same,.. we should just forget about everyone else and think about ourselves for once!!! SIL's daughter 13 (i guess i can start calling her my niece now lol ) even offered to make our wedding cake or wedding cupcakes for AHR, which was sooo sweet of her i thought i will cry - so we decided that we will do it together with her a day before our AHR.. @Michelle, I am so happy that you have posted your tiara here, I have been looking at that website forever now lol, but wasn't sure should I order or not, - but now i will definitely do it, cos yours looks stunning! ) About your son giving you away I thought I will cry as well, bless him (don't know what is wrong with me and crying today lol ) We wanted for my FI's daughter to come to Dominican as well so she could stand there with us while we say our vows and be a flower girl as well maybe )...but her mum wouldnt let her cos she is only little...but i guess i would have done the same...atleast she can be there for our church wedding, yay!!!) Oh, I was thinking to get my mum to give me away after that fiasco with my uncle, but the only reason i am unsure is cos she will cry buckets i know her lol and if i see other ppl cry especially her that's it!!!... Mel I think many of us here know how you feel about your Fi's family being all funny about destination wedding...but hope it at least helps you feel better that you are not alone... Just last night I have been in tears after conversation with my uncle about our wedding...I asked him what does he plans to do about booking, cos times goes very quickly and will he be booking with all of us (thought Caribbean Warehouse) or fly from Lithuania(where he lives).... Anyway, he told me that he cant plan a year ahead and that he will figure something out closer to the actual wedding day... Please girls tell me if i am wrong, but I was really hoping that he will do more to make sure that he is coming to our wedding, as he is the only men in our family (unfortunately after my dad had passed away:(..) and I was really looking forward for him give me away at the actual wedding...but now I am just left unsure at all if he will come... ( So last night me and my FI got very upset about it all...cos same thing happened to him with his mum, she said that she doesn't know yet if she will come...both of our families are not that big so i guess we just hoped that ppl will be more enthusiastic about our big day... (( anyway, sorry girls for the rant... Michelle I am so super happy that you had a lovely day seeing your dress again!!!) Hello there )) I have thought about it for a little while myself, as I have seen this option in one of Dreams wedding brochures...but as yourself, I am a bit afraid that it will be way to expensive (especially sending it from UK) and the stress of the package getting there might be a bit too much....so I personally decided to have everything with me and pay for extra luggage, or ask relatives that are flying with us to take an extra bag for us ) this way at least I know it will all be there when we come to DR Does anyone of you ladies had an experience of shipping things to DR?!... xoxo

Hi everyone again I was recently thinking about something and thought i will share it with you and get some advice maybe too ) Our ceremony will be 4pm and then we will have cocktails and reception until 11pm, after that our resort doesn't let any music to be played apart from the one at the resort's disco So I was hoping that after 11pm we would all crash at the disco lol ( I am sure we will be all "quite" drunk by then lol ) for some dancing and more drinks...but at the same time I don't want to do that in my wedding dress, so need something to change... Does anyone of you changing from the wedding dress on the night? And if you don't mind me asking what did you decide to wear?....I was looking for a nice short dress (maybe white as well )...but there are not many out there as far as I can see and if they are and have "wedding dress" next to it, for some reason price is increasing to £200 upwards..:/ Any advice would be highly appreciated ladies )) wishing you all a lovely evening xoxo
