HELLO ladies!!!! )) Haven't been on here for ages now, but really hope that everyone is doing well and planning is going good too! )) Sooo much to catch up been reading all night last night lol @Nicy your wedding letter box is fantastic girl, I love it!!! )) You should really team up with Michelle and make a living out of doing creative things like this!!! :Dx @Michelle - I am sooo sorry that you feel so ill still...it really sucks I can relate cos we got some sort of flu now as well...soooo annoying!!!(( Really hope that you will feel better soon and that your back will heal now you are taking pills!xxx @Charmaine - wow, i am sorry hun but when I was reading your first night with your FMIL, i felt sooo bad for you but couldn't stop laughing at the same time too lol What the hell is wrong with some ppl that they would say such a things!!! But i am also glad that she calmed down a little bit after spending some time with you and that her and your mum got along well too!!! that must of been a big weigh of your shoulders xxx This is something we need to do now too lol, arrange our parents to meet lol, just hope it will go as well as yours though!!! I think that's the problem with most MIL's (including mine) is that they don't really try to get to know us DILs and make some crazy assumptions about us - which is sad but always pleasant when they come around and realise what they are missing out on! )) @Mel - so glad you got your invites, post some pictures when you can, cant wait to see! ))x Just got letter from lady that makes our invites last night with last design approvals and they should be here in about 3weeks at most yay!!! Kelsie thank you ever so much as well for help with OOT bags as well!!!! :Dx I should look into "soulmates", cos our ceremony is at the gazebo as well, I am sure ladies will appreciate it! )) And you are right about putting useful things in OOT bags, it does make sense, no one wants to come back with more luggage then they came with lol xoxo

Thank you so much Dana for advice on OOT bags )) The reason I am so stuck i think is that I never thought I will do them lol (its not something we do in the UK) but after reading and seeing pictures of the brides who did on here, i found it an amazing idea I also love your idea of getting little suveniers from local village, its sooo sweet ) Is the village not far from the resort? its just i never been there before So I will try and work on it this month and I will post anything I will come up here , so you girls can tell me what you think! ) xoxo

Hello ladies )) Haven't been posting anything for days now been a bit busy.. @Dana - So glad that you have received your flowers at last, yay!!! )) And now as you go them your big day seems even more real i am sure ) Cant wait to see the pix!!! And in regards to your sister, well done for venting on here, sometimes its good to say things out loud or even type, just gives you that little relieve ) We have exactly the same situation with my FI's sister, - but we are guessing its just jealousy unfortunately...as many girls have told you here she will regret acting silly like this later on in her life! @chanelo - we are doing exactly the same, as we won't have that many ppl in DLR, we decided to go for free wedding package and then add all extras we fancy We booked from UK with travel agent, as Katie mentioned above, you just need to specify that you are going for your wedding and that this room should come with free wedding package and it will be no problem at all! )) @Noemi & Chanelo - your bridesmaids dresses look soooo fabulous its unreal!!! ...need to crack into finding dressed for my bridesmaids too, cos I tell you time flies by sooo quickly lately!!!... Girls, I was wondering which one of you are doing OOT bags and what was your inspiration??...I have been stuck with it for some time now,...not sure should i do tote bags or paper bags and what will go in there at all lol ...so any help would be greatly appreciated! ) xoxo

That's a great idea going to Jumbo store in LaRomana...really hope jenngene will come back to us with findings of her friend in Dominican...cos it would be so easy just have a day trip there pick all little bits and peaces and that's it lol...not carrying it all the way down there!!!:/ Oh Kelsie I have emailed you with latest HDC price list and packages etc. hope it will help you to decide...) Noemi and Chanelo your colors are so lovely!!!! I love coral and gold too!!! but decided to have aqua and white cos my future husband didn't fancy it too much lol, but I don't mind I love aqua and white too it will look lovely

Oh Chanelo your wedding is almost month before mine!!! we arrive to Dreams 29th February and our big day is on 6th March I just received email from Yanna, lady that works with Tiara, so they are all there but I am sure it got a little busy for them as Tiara is now 8months pregnant and wasn't feeling too well... Maybe try emailing her again, with URGENT in email header it seemed to work for other brides on here before lol ...all I know that it is very important to have your wedding day confirmed and maybe this way you will know for sure that it is on 11th February lol xoxo

Dana, I am so sorry that you are not getting along with your sister right now...hope you will resolve your differences soon... I found that sometimes when big events like weddings happen family can be some how annoyingly difficult about everything lol but if this is the case for you too, just hold on there girl, I am sure your sister will realize very soon that it is YOUR day at the end and she just needs to be there for you! And if you need to vent a little we are here to listen, cos i am sure many brides had little "issues" with family while planing their big days..lol xoxo

No wonder that your BFF was crying with cathedral veil it will look gorgeous I am having mine with cathedral veil too, so great minds think alike ;D I have sent you email with some things I received from Dreams resort...hope it will help (I apologias straight away, cos i think i have spelled your name wrong in email...doh :/) Your centerpiece is amazing!!! I am looking for similar vase now as well for my AHR, but as i am in the UK...i am afraid i wont be of too much help with that! Oh and bridesmaid dress is stunning too, wau you have planned so much already, incredible! I am still on the look out for my bridesmaid's dressed and my wedding shoes too...want some hot pink ones ...but have sorted my dress I will try posting picture here, it is Pronovias and got my invites too ...but still have loads to go, in this respect it is good that it is just under a year away ;D We are planing on having our ceremony in garden gazebo...i cant resist it, it is soooo beautiful!!! And then cocktail hour on the pier and reception most likely on the beach with bonfire after and dancing of course ...oh even typing about it makes me smile!!! ) xoxo

Kelsie, its such a great idea with real touch flowers post some pix's here when you will get yours!!! )) I wish I could have them done too...I have checked in the UK and if they are good quality they are almost as expensive as real ones and I like the quality of them in the US better anyway...but if you order something larger from US you have to pay a lot tax on the top of it here in the UK...so decided to stick with the real flowers in Dreams! Looking through the list of extras you can have in DLR, I have noticed corsage for $25...if they will be the ones that can go on your wrist (like you get on your prom night lol:)) they might look quite cute on bridesmaids - maybe it could be a good option for you Carrie??!! as paying $75 for 6 bridesmaids is a bit too much...:/ I have not decided on centerpieces yet...although i was thinking about it lol )) My wonderful FI wanted a specific gazebo decoration (i will try post a picture below) and I was thinking to ask Yanna, maybe it will be possible then to take some of it off (while we will have our pictures taken and cocktail hour) and have it as centerpieces???...i don't know how possible its is to be honest...just trying to find some ways to save money on such a things what do you think ladies??? )) xoxo

@LaLastMinute - welcome and congrats on getting married!!! At last there is another Dreams bride here ...we are getting married in dreams too, but in Dominican Republic - but i have looked at your resort and it is stunning! And your wedding is sooo soon too, you must be so excited! I am glad that you have ordered a box for your dress and they will deliver it on time! We are flying with Thomas Cook as well...and i am worried about exact same thing...cos my dress is so big I am not sure will it fit in the box at all..( Its kind of rubbish of them to be honest, cos I would of thought that as you are traveling for your wedding (i am sure plane won't be filled with destination brides!) they would make an exception and let you in with your dress!!! I would of been even prepared to give up mine and my FI's hand luggage just to have my dress safe with me!!!... But i guess i will just have to wait and see how it goes.. @Mel - I am so glad that everyone is safe and well in NZ and it is so thoughtful and generous of you arranging a charity event to help out!!! I am sure that the money you will raise will help many!!! Btw, I would love to join in for a March diet and exercise challenge!!! I don't usually go to the gym, cos i don't drive and nearest gym is miles away,...but i do some exercises at home and on Kinect thingy too lol But if you need support I am here hun ) And I am sure many more girls here will be up for the challenge too @soon2beMrsG - WAU your villa is fantastic!!! simply breathtaking!!!
