We plan to do the same thing! We are hoping to help guests discover some of the cool amenities at MP and get some cool photos as well. We will require that someone in the group is in their photos, and in case of a tie, the most creative photos win! My custom wedding ring finally arrived today! What do you think?

I was told that the location for the ceremony won't be an issue, as they only do one wedding an hour, and with rare exceptions, ceremonies only last about 20 minutes. You should be able to get whatever venue you want for the ceremony itself. Receptions sites though are another matter.... Good luck! Posting on Facebook tends to get Kalena to respond a bit faster, though not much.... I hope she's as wonderful on site as everyone says she is!!

Forgot to mention, the bouquet charm on my bouquet is from YourCharmedWedding, also on Etsy. You can customize the ribbon and crystal color:

@SChica927: Thanks! The MOH bouquet was $74, my bouquet was $125.50 including the charm, which I forgot to mention came from another Etsy vendor called "YourCharmedWedding" (charm was $12.99). The Bouts were $24. I loved working with Michele (AmoreBride). She was great with sending pictures and responded quickly to my emails.Also great, she ordered the charm on my behalf to save me the hassle of having it shipped to me then to her and just added it to the total price of the bouquet. I highly recommend her!!

My bridal bouquet and the boutonieres finally arrived! Here are the pics! Inspiration bouquet: The Maid of Honor Bouquet was made first: I decided I wanted something a little brighter for mine, so we subbed yellow flower for the peach flowers, and voila! And then the matching boutonieres (I had the back yellow bud removed and subbed for another blue sprig): I love them! They were made by AmoreBride on Etsy!

We booked with Claudia Rodriquez photography. They seemed to have more reasonable prices than some of the others (though probably still the most expensive part of the wedding!) Don't forget to budge in for paying a room night for them as whoever you choose is an outside vendor...

Be careful with this if you're working through a TA. We arranged to be altogether with our guests in one section, and now we're all over the place. Not sure how that happened, and maybe it will be straightened out, but it's no guarantee you'll wind up where you thought you were going to be!

Ok, so I’ve been trying to keep my cool, but I’m getting SUPER frustrated with our Moon Palace wedding coordinator. It has now been THREE WEEKS since I contacted her, and despite follow up emails, phone calls placed by my TA, follow-ups through their own employees to her, I have still heard NOTHING. We are under a month from the big day. I can’t book our group excursions, and I’ve heard that they all fill up super fast. I can’t buy linens as no one will tell me their table sizes, and they chard FOUR TIMES the purchase price to rent them!! I can’t find the contact number for their onsite Kodak department who do the videography to get information and decide if I want to use them or an outside vendor or nothing at all. I keep hearing how they’re totally awesome while you’re there, but at this point, I am not pacified by this news AT ALL. I really really really don’t understand why they even bother telling you that their wedding coordinators will contact you 3 months prior to your wedding when they are totally unresponsive anyway. It would be so much nicer if they just told you that everything would be taken care of when you’re there and never bothered contacting you in the first place. I am generally a super mellow person, but it's no wonder I was in urgent care on Wednesday due to mind-numbingly painful heartburn. I don’t know how I’m ever going to be able to be nice to our wedding coordinator when we meet her face to face. Furthermore, now I’m worried that my attempts to chase her down will piss her off and lead to her being as useless on site as she is via email. AAAAAARRRRRGHHHHH! Ok. Now I feel better. Wow, I really hope that's true! I have totally given up on hearing from my WC. I don't understand why they even bother telling you that they will contact you 3 months before the wedding when they never respond to you anyway. Honestly, it would have been much less stressful if they just said from the beginning that everything will be taken care of when you're there and never even bothered emailing you at all. I'm trying so hard not to stress, but their lack of response has taken me from concerned, to frustrated, to super angry. I really don't want to be angry about anything wedding related!! Sorry, this post probably belongs in the "rants" thread, but anyway....

I have Kalena too and communication has been terrible! We get married on June 12. At first, it took 3 emails, 2 phone calls, 2 emails from the Miami coordinator, a call or two from my TA AND a negative post on Facebook to get a response after almost 3 weeks. It improved after that, but now, I've been waiting over 2 weeks again and have used all these avenues except Miami, and still no response. GRRRRR! I hear she's great on site, but seriously!! I don't even want to go into that many details, I just need info on booking group excursions and table sizes so I can buy linens and not pay their ridiculous rental prices. I am super frustrated with MP right now!

Does anyone know what the "honeymoon package" is that the wedding packages come with?

We finally found a wedding band for my FI! It's pretty awesome. He wanted mixed metal, and we found a ring that is actually made with meteorite. How cool is that?? The inner band is meteorite, the outer is yellow gold.

Why would iPod set up costs vary based on the number of people? Am I missing something??

@Blondy: When you used an outside photographer, did you have to buy a room night for each one, or did they let you just do day passes? I've been hearing different things....
