Hey ladies! So I need some advise. I've opted to go the real touch flower route but I'm starting to lose hope. I originally wanted to go with Angel Accents. I didn't realize how far in advance they were booking so I wasn't able to use them. I then contacted Pulmeria and they too were booked but the owner told me to contact her again on March 27th and she'd be more than happy to work with me. So on March 27th as promised I emailed her. I was met by disappointment when she said she received so many request in one day (50!) that she could not work with me. Now here I am a month and a half before leaving to Jamaica and I don't have the beautiful flowers I envisioned. Can anyone suggest a good seller or website that would be able to accommodate me with such short notice?

That's great eholt. Past brides can you comment on what time you went to the salon and did your hair/make up and if it lasted all day. I have an outside makeup artist Nicole suggest we start our hair at 1pm but the makeup artist wants to begin at 11am...need help and or suggestions. Our ceremony is at 4pm.

eholt I'm doing real touch as well so including the boutonnieres and corsages but I need the florist for the huppa. Are you not decorating the huppa? I'm clothes shopping this weekend and I'll send our notarized copies next week for the marriage license. Oh boy what else are we missing? Did you do OOT bags? A part of me wants to do a small welcome bag but I don't want to have too much to travel with nor do I want to spend tons :/ We are taking all of the guest on a catamaran sunset cruise as a "thank you".

eholt have you been in contact with the florist? Gosh, I can't seem to get anyone to answer their email. Wedding in 8 weeks and no communication stinks! I may prepare our papers this weekend for the marriage license.

eholt out days are approaching quickly, not sure if you know already but the hotel is almost booked out. Nicole isn't as responsive lately as she used to be, the busy season seems to be approaching so I guess we'll have to start calling soon. Which restaurant are you choosing? lizk you need to change your TA, I booked everything a year in advance including my rooms. The resort and the iberostar website won't allow you to book until 6 months prior but with a good TA all is possible. 2012 brides, my only suggestion is that you add 10% to the current price list when budgeting. I booked my entire wedding with the 2010 price list and didn't receive the 2011 price list until a month or so ago.

Past brides, would you mind commenting on where you kept your jewels and cash while at the resort? I know every hotel has safes but I'm not always sure how safe they really are. Especially after you consider how much we have to carry with us.

Chasity's prices are great..airbrush and tattoo cover up. I'd love to see pics as she doesn't really have many on facebook. She has a personal book but we won't be able to see that until we are in Jamaica lol. 9 weeks and counting...oh the stress has begun!!

I'm having a meet and greet poolside for 2hrs which will become really expensive but I think my guest deserve it. So I'm going to have one hour of ipod music and the 2nd hour with a steel drum band plus open bar...I've come to the conclusion that I'm spending the same amount of money I would be spending if I go married here in NY but it's for an entire weekend of fun versus 4 or 5 hours of fun.
