Thanks ladies. DWBridetobe - That's what I was thinking. Most resorts and vendors wouldn't want to work on something that far out. I'd at least like to set a date. People keep asking me about it. I don't want to just sit idly for the next year waiting for the 1 year mark to come and then start planning. That's a waste of good time. Plus I know I'll be finishing up my last year of grad school then and preparing for comprehensive exams. I won't have as much free time then. Melaina - This is OT but - Wow I went to school with a girl named Melaina some years ago. She's the only one I've ever known with that name. I always thought it was cute and unique. I already know what resort I'd like to get married with. Sadly I think I have ideas about everything after browsing this website for the past week or so.

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie! My SO proposed to me about 6 weeks ago and I couldn't be more excited. I'm planning to marry in Cabo San Lucas or Jamaica. I'm leaning more towards Cabo with the insistence of my mom. I haven't set an official date yet, as I am waiting on my school's academic calendar to be posted. We want to marry shortly after I graduate in the late spring/early summer of 2012.
