I'm one of those people who would be super annoyed by it too, so I understand. I don't think you're being unreasonable, it IS your day.

I have googled everywhere but I cant find any answers. I am sure this is impossible, but is there a way to reserve a spot ON a beach? We want to get married on the beach, but of course beaches aren't private and theres tons of people. Just making an estimate as of now, but well probably have about 50-100 people at our wedding. I live in Bakersfield (which is in the middle of Northern and Southern California) so any beaches in California are fine. Anybody know of anyone that does this or anything similar? We can't spend a ton on the location either. Just wondering if anybody knew anything. Thanks!
