Hi ladies, I am getting married April 6th at The Royal Playa Del Carmen on the beach I am soooo much more behind than the rest of you in my planning, sorta stressing me out after looking through this post lol..I have done a lot of research but no action just yet... Oh well once I get going I will blow right through most of the detailing... Anyone else getting married at The Royal? It seems the place is booking up fast... Anyway I am so excited to have found this forum and am trying really hard not to be an addict, but I think its too late! Has anyone been able to bring their own isle runner for a beach wedding? I read that winds average around 7miles an hour during April...is that considered pretty windy? lol I really want a teal or fushia runner for the beach but I have read that some havent had good experiences with keeping it down in the wind... Thanks Hey when you booked your wedding did you put down the deposit before or after they told you what location and time your wedding could be at? I spoke with someone over there today and she emailed me some stuff but said she would get back to me about time and location...Im kinda hesitant to send over my deposit before I get the time but Im also worried I will loose the date... Are they pretty good about getting back to you in the beginning or should I continue to pester them? lol

Hi girls, Ive been having so much fun reading all your posts on the Royal. I am new to this site but since reading I have decided that I want my wedding at the Royal as well. April 6th 2011... I tried to do a request through the royal website to get someone to contact me about times avail. I only saw that there was only one option for beach location, which was pelicanos, but I heard through here that they have 3 beach locations. The pelicanos is only avail at 1pm which I dont want to do it that early. Does anyone know if they have other beach options that they share with you later? Also I havent got a responce back from anyone yet in order to book. Should I try again or is it just going to take them longer with all the location changes there? Also does anyone know if you can have your wedding ceremony and reception on Porto side if you are staying at the Royal? I was just noticing that they have later times over there for ceremony. One more thing...Does anyone know how to change your username? Somehow mine was put as my email address.. Thanks ladies...look forward to learning and sharing with you all Kathy

Hi everyone, I am so excited to read through all the wealth of information from all of you. I am new to this site and have spent countless hours reading through all the past threads, very time consuming, but so much fun I am getting married on April 6th 2011 hopefully at The Royal Playa Del Carmen, however its not official yet. If anyone has any insight to this location and experience I would love love love to hear about it. I look forward to learning my way around here and hopefully make some new friends If anyone can tell me why my status is "lurker" I would like to know why it says that and how to change it..sounds kinda creepy! lol Also does anyone know why I cant put a pic on my profile? I have also just recently found this amazing site and in the past week I think Im averaging about 3hrs of sleep per night because I cant get my butt off this forum! lol I am getting married April 2011 and am trying to do mass amounts of research to get caught up with all the other April brides who are way ahead of me I am so excited but overwhelmed with all the details...
