    (I also searched and used the links in the beginning and didn't get anything so am posting here) I am using a TA from dw.com as well and have been pleased so far. I don't expect her to do the wedding planning because that isn't what they are for. We shall see once we get closer but I did want to say, I'm pleased so far.

    OK, checked trip advisor and WOW RPDC got bad reviews recently. I think we need to pull the trigger on VIM! EEK! Thanks for being so helpful ladies!

    Well, I think I'm just nervous that I'll commit then find out something terrible or find something better. I did research the Royal PDC on tripadvisor last night- that's out! I need to JUST DO IT!

    OK thanks ladies...you all are calming me down a bit. Quick question- the beach at VIM is *worse* than EDR? I was told it was better and actually swimmable. That is one of the important things for my fiance. I'm getting prices for the Royal PDC to compare and will read that long thread tonight. I appreciate all of the comments. Glad to hear about the fgod- all of us are food snobs and ipcky seafood eaters. We need to decide already!

    Thanks Ladies- well, we've not seen the VIM (only saw Marriott Casa Maga and El Dorado Royale) and have never stayed at an All Inclusive. From the pics I've seen they have the things we liked about EDR (style of hotel) but with a better/swimmable beach. My fiance really liked Playa del Carmen and I'm wondering if we shouldn't get closer to PDC. I guess I'm just nervous about committing. My nickname is the Indecisive Bride so I'm probably just freaking out over nothing... *sigh*

    I've heard Sacha Gluck is affordable, but like the other posters said, "affordable" is definitely a subjective term. Good luck!

    We were just about to book the VIM but then I was told it is not as good as the Royal PDC. Anyone have any recommendations?? I'm freaking out a little.
