I'm getting married the Saturday after Thanksgiving!!

We are super excited! We are renting out the roof top!

Hi Ladies Just wanted to say that I had my bridal shower this weekend and it was really great!!! My mom and sister did most of the planning and then my bridesmaids and other 2 sisters did the decorations. I had such a great time!!!! Just wanted to share how happy I am this weekend! Oh and we decided the location for the reheral dinner. We are doing it at El Bistro at La Tortuga Hotel. YAY!!!!

If you can that would be great!! I saved the standard one you posted but I couldn't figure out where I should put the sand ceremony. I think it looks like this. I couldn't really tell from the pic she sent me.

HELP! This ceremony is driving me crazy, I'm soo clueless about how this works! At what point in the ceremony can/should I do the sand ceremony? I want to cross the programs off my list but I just can't seem to fiure the order of events out. Thank you

My ceremony will be on the beach so I asked if they provide an aisle runner, my WC told me they have a jute runner that they use. She also sent me a pic and it was of LadyDi's wedding!

Msglave  What's the best way to get in contact with Doranna? I sent her an email thru her website almost a week ago and still haven't heard from her. The woman who was going to do my hair is a very close friend of the family and had to cancel her trip to PDC for the wedding because her brother just passed away and she has to fly to DR and doesn't know when she'll be back. It's very sad to hear I can't even imagine how she feels. Now I'm looking for somone down there to do our hair.  Any other suggestions ladies? From my understanding Fernando is expensive and I'll use the Spazul only as a last resort!

Hi Janna,  I'm having him do just the wedding party florals, mainly roses and he's throwing in some other flowers to give it more dimension. I'm really not a flower kind of person so it wasn't an important thing for me.The only flower I really like are orchids and to do everything with orchids would get really expensive! My reception is on the beach so I'm doing candles and probably some rose petals but that's about it. Since most of my guests are flying out the next day, the arrangements would just go in the trash unlike here where ppl take them back home. Let me know if you have any other questions  Elsa sent me the wedding checklist since my final payment is due at the end of the month. She included a pdf. of the names of flowers, the colors they come in and when they are in season. I thought this was really helpful. If anyone wants it just PM me. Â

I told him what kind of flowers I was looking for and he sent me pictures to choose from. I was looking for very simple arrangements so I think that's why I got the price that I did, but regardless he is very reasonable. I think if you have some ideas of what you are looking for he can def create if for you or get pretty close to it. Â

That's who I'm using!! I think LadyDi used them. His prices are really reasonable. As of now I getting 6 bm bouquets, 5 bountineres and 3 wrist coursages for $300!! Marvin is very responsive.

Hi Ladies! Â Does anyone know if I use an outside florist and have someone meet him to pick up the bouquets will I still be charged a vendor fee? I was thinking about sending 2 of the groomsmen to meet him outside the hotel but I don't know if I would still have to pay the fee.

I agree, I personally don't care to hear reasons(excuses) why things went soo wrong because it should not have got to this point. Ladies I really hope that everything works out! You pay a little more to go with a TA for the assurance that when things like this happen you will be protected. Â Jess - you gave some great tips. I hope future brides ask all of those questions. Â Planning a wedding is stressful in itself! Royal PDC better keep the liquor flowing once we get down there after all of this stress )

 I did the same thing. While she has been a great help no company is perfect we also had issues but nothing major. I did a lot of my own research becuase I wanted to be sure my guests were getting the best deal possible so while most booked with our TA some did there own thing. When the whole Mexicana issue happened she called me right away and had new flights already prepared for us.  Hopefully it works out for everyone having issues and as we have all been told once we get there everything is amazing ) Â
