  1. Ladies if you're looking for a new workout, that's kick A$$ and provides results.... Check out Butt Bible by Pauline Nordin. It's free on demand if you have Verizon Fios. Otherwise, You can purchase it at www.exercisetv.com. She has a lower body, upper body and abs workout. If you like to be challenged, give it a try, it doesn't disappoint Good luck ladies!!
  2. They sure do! I said the same, so I just may wear a pair of wedges for the beach ceremoy, which by the way, no one will see. Then change into my babies!! LOL
  3. LOL I've searched High and low for shoes. At first I was looking for something blue, then decided that it would be a waste because I would probably never wear them again. So the pressure was on because my dress fitting is Tuesday and I have to bring my shoes with me. My MOH found these shoes online, along with other shoes. So we went to bloomingdales today and when I saw them, I immediately fell in love! The picture doesn't do them any justice. The best part is that they're super comfortable and I can dye them black for future use.
  4. Ladies interested in Ivory/White shoes with some bling.... Here's a pair I found at bloomingdales. I read great reviews about these shoes and decided to go and check them out. They are super comfortable. They look very high, however, due to the small platform in the front they don't hurt. I find that they run 1/2 size smaller. I'm usually a size 8 and had to order an 8 1/2.
  5. Beautiful video! would you mind PM'ing me your rates? I'm getting married at the Moon Palace Golf & spa resort in Cancun Mexico on 10/8/11
  6. I hear you, same hear. I've lost some of the weight slowly but it's coming off. don't lose hope and stay focused.... You will get there!!
  7. Any of you lucky ladies that were able to do a site visit get a chance to sample the menu choices? If so, any recommendations?? I'm in the process of picking my menu and I'm clueless as to what option to go with. It's tough making decisions without knowing whether or not it's good. I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks
  8. Hello Ladies.... I have a minor dilema and could use some help. I'm currently in the process of choosing my menu for cocktail hour, reception and also dessert. I'm interested to hear some feedback, Therefore, Anyone who did a site visit, did you sample the foods/desserts? If so, what's your recommendations. Past brides, what desserts, menu choices etc did you go with/sample? What would you recommend? It's tough making blind choices when you have no idea what it taste like? Ugh!!! "HELP"!!
  9. I forgot to mention the name of the shoe: The above shoes are by NINA and it's called CHABLIS
  10. Ladies, I came across this Ivory colored shoe which matched my dress perfectly, however, because it has gold accent color I couldn't buy them. My dress has bling with silver accent color. The picture doesn't do it much justice. They are absolutely beautiful in person!!! They bling so much and it's perfect because the rest of the shoe is so simple. I figured I'd share these with the rest of you and maybe help a few girls out.
  11. I agree with nabreu7, Everything will work out!! I've never been to MP either. what has helped ease my worries is the reviews and comments from all of the past brides and/or the current brides who have done site visits. Definitely add up your items and see where you are as far as cost. If it looks like you would need to cut down, think about what are the most important things that you would want. If you don't think you have enough decor, don't worry about it, work with what you have. Besides, decor or no decor, it'll be beautiful regardless. The resort is gorgeous and that itself will do it some justice.
  12. I too ordered raffia fans from Oriental Trading and they were VERY inexpensive. I agree that guest will appreciate them due to the heat. It also adds a nice touch as a photo prop. I'm creating my own programs. I'm purchasing a kit from michaels, print them out, punch a hole, put a ribbon through and DONE!
  13. The Tabacon is pretty much in the middle of a rain forest. It is a fabulous place. The hot water from the volcano meets with the cold water from the sea, combine and flow into the resort creating a fog effect, which is gorgeous. It is very humid due to the heat fromt he water. It's a beautiful place and def pricey. Two cheeseburgers and two cocktails cost us around $50 bucks! They add tax on everything and it's pretty high. Make sure you do the couples massage... It was AMAZING!! I believe we payed approximately $300-350 for the massage but it was so worth it. You lay side by side, outside, in the middle of the rain forest, the water flowing through. You hear the birds chirping and soft music playing. Very relaxing for the mind and body. When done, you go into another room where you have a private hot tub, a tray of fruit and some champagne. Ahhh.... makes me want to go back just for the massage. LOL Anyway...While there, I never saw any weddings take place. I'm sure it would turn out great. Also, don't be afraid to venture out into town, it's very safe. Stop by any of the local restaurants to taste authentic costa rican dishes. Very delicious food and for a bargain!! Good Luck and Happy Planning
  14. Ladies I have good news!! I found an expresso frame at Michaels which has 4 removable panels suitable for sand ceremony frame. It cost $14.99. I'm going back tomorrow morning to pick one up. I will post a picture of it once I have it. I tried looking for it online at michaels, but it's not coming up online.
  15. I'm making wedding programs. I order my raffia fans from oriental trading and they were pretty inexpensive. I'm wrapping my raffia fans in two different ribbon colors: blue and lime green. If you need program ideas, check out wedding bee. I found a very cute DIY program on there that I plan to make. They have a board with tons of DIY ideas. good luck!!
  16. It looks great!! I'm thinking of altering my neckline to a sweetheart as well. The Caprice and the billie is the same dress except for the differences in the material and the neckline. I LOVE how the dress looks with the sweetheart neckline. Therefore, I think I will be making the changes. If you decide to change it to a sweetheart neckline, please post! I would love to see the end result. Happy Planning
  17. Update: I spoke with my TA this morning and she got in touch with Valeria. YAY!!!! Valeria was out sick for 2 weeks and since she returned she was bombarded with emails, she's been trying to catch. However, My TA spoke with her a while on the phone and went over everything. So we finally got the ball rolling!! I'm so RELIEVED!! ((Sighs))
  18. My onsite coordinator is Valeria and I have emailed her in the past. Valeria would reply although a bit delayed at times, but now, I get no answer. I last emailed her 1 1/2 months ago and no reply to date. So Frustrating!! I feel that they are too laxed for me. They operate on Island time. I guess that's why I'm so impatient because here in NY, we get things done ASAP!! LOL
  19. Really?? Great! Well I'm going to give them a call. I totally agree with you about the bitchiness, however, that will help to keep them on their toes. I will be calling them first thing tomorrow morning. Quote: Originally Posted by onourway well then, I did get an email from my onsite about an hour after that phone call:)
  20. Bulldogs11, What is the sellers name on etsy? I'm interested in a flower for my hair and she sounds pretty reasonable.
  21. Thank You for sharing! This helps me a ton since I'm still clueless on what my choices are. I'm still waiting to hear from my WC. My wedding is 87 days away and I have yet to hear from her. So I emailed her and her boss, Janina. Let's see if I can get someone's attention. LOL Moon Complementaria.pdf
