I had a savings account that I left open when I moved from LA to FLA... and I tried to close it (it had a + balance) and couldn't because CA and FL have different systems, anyway, they kept finance charging me until it had a negative balance and then dinged my credit. Chris- I was about to jump through the computer to kill your photog when I read that the pics came. I agree, it is totally overwhelming getting all of them. We had a total of 450 picutres and some of them are doubles of the same shot. God knows what the photog did for 6 hours. Still 450 took FOREVER to look through. I just put together a 45page (double side) album using shutterfly- they have 20% off and free shipping. It arrived today and looks good. Having a tough time picking what shot to give the parentals. Also, we have exactly the same thank you cards as the ones above, so cute but they are too damn small for a 4x6 photo... I looked for prob 2 weeks for 4x6 thank you cards and never found any. Instead we have 5x7 blank cards and I made my own. Stamps and colored pencils- kind of homemade but the pictures fit. Breens, I am stalking your wedding pics. Your bridesmaids dress colors were awesome. Brooke- I kind of feel bad the idea of crashing Krista's wedding I mean she wont get to hang out? Maybe we could all do NYC in the fall? Timberly and Breens are close, you travel a lot, and most everyone else is way closer to NY than Mexico... whatever the group decides to do though, I will do my best to meet up. I went to the ob gyn today and was reassured that everything looks normal. She said 75% of couples trying get pregnant in 6 months. That prompted the question, should we stop trying? I think we are going to keep getting busy regularly and see what happens Loving hearing about morning sickness. I look forward to all of it

Hi Ladies, just checking in... Brooke, love the ticker, so cute... your baby is already smarter than Paris Hilton ha ha ... Krista (July)... in Jamaica they told us to sign our unmarried names... I was a spinster and he a bachelor (doesnt sound fair!!) Krista (Feb)... what part of FLA are you coming to? Id say lets do lunch but the chances of you being near me are pretty remote... the weather is central Florida has been to die for this past week. Low 80s and beautiful blue skies. Water temp is up to 68 already (we had such a nasty-for us- winter). We not focused on baby making, our honeymoon is in 2 months Just following the fertility window and expecting itll happen sometime. I am finally able to run again after over a year with plantar fascitis and so we are enjoying that together (its one of our common interests).. and next weekend we go to NYC (my first time since I was a kiddo)... One of Austin's groomsmen lives in Manhattan and one of my GFs (who came with us to Jamaica) hit it off and are doing the bicoastal (LA NY) romance for a bit. We are all meeting up for a romantic weekend. Also my gf and I get all of Monday to shop while the boys work (very excited for that!)... Timberly, do you have a suggestion for where to shop? Like more affordable than Gucci but not too bohemian? Wanna come shopping on Monday the 19th?

Oops, the other one sold today, I had it posted on ebay and didnt think anyone would buy it (no bids, like 1 watcher) but when I got home this evening it had sold. So for now, this is the one I have. When I was getting married I was looking for an inexpensive TTD dress, so I could have the experience without ruining my Maggie. After looking and looking I came across a charity that had a ton of dresses. I couldn't decide at that time and bought a few to help them out. They are the store models, need dry cleaning but otherwise are very pretty bridal gowns. I personally took the one I used to a regular dry cleaner and paid $30 and it came out perfect (like 3 shades lighter!) I do not believe either have been altered and all are long on me (5'2") I am asking $50 each. Payment with Pay Pal. The first is by Lea Ann Belter (Made in Canada!) SIZE 10... Well Brook I have my fingers and toes crossed and am also wondering about Breens... I broke down and bought a test this morning... you can find out "up to 6 days early"... and I am supposed to start Weds so I took it, convinced that my sore boobies and urination frequency were signs, but alas not this month... I need to chill out about it, I was kind of disappointed a little. Realistically, Our honeymoon isnt even until June, it would be better to not be pregs. And we just got married.... I am enjoying the margaritas

Krista, Im a dork- I went and looked on your FB and remembered right away that I have already looked at them... and they are beautiful... your dress is beautiful and I love the cheers with the little boy As for the ttd, the photog had a specific idea... I was hoping to go into town or go for a hike/horseback ride, something... he wanted me to sit in the water with waves hitting me with the sunset, and use Austin's leg to help hold me up... so thats what we did... trouble is that it was the only evening that there wasnt much of a sunset... he said that there are a few worth looking at but not as he had hoped for... weather I wish we had an AHR coming up! Our parties are all over!! We still have the honeymoon to go... June 15th we leave for Hawaii and Kauai for 8 days... getting married has been fun!!

I like the natural look too... thats part of why we picked him, just I guess kind of sad that some guests the only picture of them is not smiling, especially some of our friends while slow dancing. Chris, I know yours are going to be awesome and totally worth the wait!

We got married on the 2/6 and got the pictures on 3/24- that's 6 weeks and 4 days of waiting (if that gives anyone else a timeline??)... Sounds like everyone has to wait ... Krista, did you get yours? We finally got ours this week... honestly, I am kind of disappointed, there arent many of Austin and I with guests, some guests arent even included at all, only a few of the kids... very few of guests turning and smiling at the camera... its like he went so natural that there are lots of pictures of people off in thought... some of the ones friends took are better to be honest... although there are plenty of nice ones...- I shouldnt complain... I checked the shot list we submitted and 20% of the ones we requested he didnt do... kind of stimeyed, what to do?? He also said the ttd ones didnt turn out and has not returned 2 emails now for creating the book- which is in the contract. Frustrated also because we hired a photog for 3 hours are our AHR and they have not arrived- the said she sent them 3 weeks ago?? Also not returning emails. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrg!! Re pictures, make sure your shot list is comprehensive and maybe take a copy of it and review it on the day? Allow plenty of time for pictures (we ran out of sun)... You wouldn't think you would have to ask a photog to take pictures of guests posed smiling but I guess you do. (thats my unsolicited advise So does anyone think they are preggo yet? This is the first month that we hit the date on the head, I am looking forward to seeing if it could be... Hi ladies... we spent the better part of the afternoon in an interior room with tornado warnings! Yikes!! Its pouring with rain!! I travel around for work on Thursdays and so am soaked! to the bone!! We had almost the coldest winter on record and it has made the fruits so sweet! Yummy strawberries and blueberries ... finally this week it has been a bit warmer... we are total wimps I know...

Agreed! We were married by the same minister and under the same gazebo... the most beautiful spot IMO I definitely worried too much, but having someone tell me the centerpieces we ordered were not available and that we would have to pay x amount of dollars more would send anyone over the edge (which is just one example of the non-sense)!! Beaches IN Jamaica made it wonderful!!

Good morning ladies Susie, that's sweet of your friend to offer to make a baby blanket for the first knocked up bride... Tricia, your pictures look gorgeous, can't wait to see more... that's so fun that you got to have a battle of the brides Krista, pictures, no pictures? Shelk, how was your Mexican fiesta? I bet it was wonderful to celebrate with everyone since just the 4 of you went to Mexico I am so itching for the professional pictures as well. It was a month on Saturday... patience patience (so frigging hard!)... I have held off on the thank yous waiting for the pictures, so that we could include a picture of the group shot in the envelope..... but I just keep thinking of people waiting for their thank yous! Our house is just about back to normal. Spent the weekend re-organizing to accommodate china and pancake griddles and wine glasses.... Watched the wedding video with my Nan and Mum last night, they (grandparents) head back to England today Sad for the festivities to end... Granddad said, How long are you going to stretch all of this out?"... I said, "As long as possible"... Was thinking that now I understand how my sister-in-laws say their weddings were their fairy tales. Anyway, enough rambling on... its funny Chris, I read your post on Feb brides, looked at the pics without reading this thread and thought, "wow, they wore their wedding clothes for the rehearsal?? I dont understand..." I think they look beautiful and I love your bridesmaids color dresses and the little boys carrying the pillow together is precious. Men are pretty clueless about weddings anyway (at least mine is)

They had that same rule for us (well it was a 2 night rule?)... we bargained and paid for Jeremy, 2 nights no airfare, he brought his wife (his dime) and added a night... As for the resort pictures, they took a bunch of us. The photogs did a good job - the prints are like $20 a pop if you buy individually. They will do a great job of documenting the day. I did not find their pictures to be as artistic, if you know what I mean- a more traditional style of photography (we wanted to pictures to tell a story- more photojournalism). One upside of using them is that they have on-site photogs all the time. I bet if you were up to something and you wanted them to hang around and take a few pictures, they probably would (that is just a guess). We were asked if we wanted our picture taken a few times, non-wedding related (kind of like at Disney)

Hi Ladies... Congratulations on your engagements we got married last month and I wore a Maggie and I am still so in love with my dress.... I did have a little problem which is probably pretty normal but thought I might mention a solution (that I wish I had known)... I had 3 bustles also and had hook and eyes to hold them up and in place. The lady in the dress shop said "make sure you really push the hook down, so the loop doesnt fall out"... On the day my mom and MOH both tried pushing those suckers closed (with fingernails) and the bustles kept coming out. In hindsight, I would have asked my mom or MOH to pack a new (so no dirt) pair of small needle nose pliers in their purse... to pinch those things right down! Best of Luck
