I'd be interested in a book club! Â The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is slow for the first 150 pages or so and then gets really good! The second one is good from page one so just try to tough it out!

Hi Ladies,  It's been a while since I've been on this thread so just thought I'd share my favorites!! I am in a book club and these were mine, as well as the groups, favs:  The American Wife Water for Elephants The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The girl that Played with Fire, we still have to read Hornets nest and are so excited! The Help The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peal Pie Society The Glass Castle  I've ordered The Shadow of the Wind and The Book Thief based on your guys' suggestion! I'm excited for a good book! My book club goes in waves and now we're in a slump. I haven't been crazy about the last 3 books: The Myth of You and Me (ok, but not great), Olive Kitteridge (painful), and A Reliable Wife (downer). I need a good one!

You just give them a disk and tell them what each track is for and they handle it. It worked great. Â

I did not have a soloist. We had a cd/iPod, which I thought worked great. I'm sure live music would have been beautiful as well, but I didn't want to pay for it. I also wanted songs with words for other parts of the ceremony. I didn't really think it was my style either, but everyone ended up loving it. Hubby said it was the happiest moment of his life when he saw me approaching in it. I don't think the cart would have had the same effect.

We had one for the moms walking down the aisle (or bridesmaids), the carriage approaching, bride, sand ceremony, and recessional . 5 in all.

Nope, because we didn't sign a group contract. It was cheaper for our guests to book elsewhere and we felt we would rather pay more than have them. It was about $400 cheaper per couple to book through our TA or Orbitz than through Moon. Basically one air fare was free. Â

So we actually decided to go to Iberostar instead for a change of pace and my dad needed somewhere with golf. Anyone been there??

Hi ladies!! I haven't checked in too much because not much is new with me. I just got back from Dallas. Of course the absolute wrong time of the year to go to Dallas!!! It was steamy. The good news is that I did my test sober flight and passed with flying colors! WHooHoo! So...I could make it to NY except that my parents have decided that they want to return to Moon Palace to celebrate their wedding anniversary that weekend. I'm totally excited to go back to MP, but sad I will miss the meet up. If there's another one a weekend that I'm available I would love to meet up sometime! Sue-congrats on the job! Mamas-glad to hear that everything is going great for you all! Erica-hope you had fun in the US and wishing you safe travels back home Timberly-my mouth dropped at your fb update! tsk, tsk. Ali- Welcome home!!! It sounds like a wonderful trip. I've never been to Hawaii, but definitely hope to go some day. Good thing Austin was being brave for you. Glad to hear you guys made it safely and had such a great time. Sorry to hear about your neighbor. Just makes you stop and think about how precious life is. It sounds like he was a great neighbor to have. Brooke- I usually read a couple of books a month. I am in a book club so always read that one and usually one on my own. Right now we are reading Olive Kitterage. I am so so bored, but apparently it gets really good in the middle. I'm still waiting. Some of my faves are: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (love it!!! and the sequels), The American Wife, The Help, Water for Elephants, and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peal Pie Society. All of them are great reads! My selection the last time it was my turn was The Glass Castle. I agree...very good!

Susie- Enjoy your step daughter free time!!! Chris- Ugh. Doesn't sound too pleasant to me either. I hope the next several weeks fly by for you so that you can begin to enjoy this time!! Krista- Way to go on losing the inches!!! That's awesome! My brother and sister-in-law did the insanity and said that it was crazy. My brother played college football and he said that it was just as hard as any of his football workouts that he had. That's awesome. You're gonna be a beautiful bride!!! I bought most of my lingerie at Victoria's Secret, but of course that adds up quickly and gets expensive. I had some friends recently say that Kohl's has really good and cheap lingerie. I don't know if you have them in Canada, but something to look into. They said the only downside is that if you're really busty they don't really have much for those people. Nothing too much going on with me. Just trying to enjoy the summer. The practice is going good. This week has been incredibly slow at work though so I've been super bored!! Just a lot of reading. No big plans for the holiday weekend. We kept saying we were going to go somewhere, but then never got around to booking anything. We both have a 3 day weekend so will probably just relax in town.

Krista- The final countdown is on!!! WHOOHOOO!!!! you're about to join the M-R-S club!! Brooke- How was the festival that you went to? Looks fun, but you are one brave lady for spending the weekend around people that are drinking and having to be totally sober!! I don't think I could do it. Chris- How is everything going with you? Are you having any symptoms? Are you talking really loudly on your work phone about your pregnancy, while you co-worker listens to all the deets?? Sabrina- So how far along are you? Didn't you say that you have a website that we can see your baby bump? Ali- How was Hawaii?? Your pictures looked gorgeous! I'm so jealous that you got to return to a beach!! I'm anxiously waiting to return. So I read that you had a scary flight??
