 Next weekend we are all going to pick up the bridesmaid dresses. I am praying more than anything that there are no issues there. It is so funny right now every day another package from victoria secret or somewhere else arrives lol and FI is like omg another box!! our dining room has become the storage room for wedding stuff ahahaah   OMG same here....Victoria Secret, Vistaprint... I have been trying to manipulate my period with birth control pills and I missed 2 nights ago (new pack)....so guess what I get today?! Mother F'er!!! My wedding is in EXACTLY 2 months from today . Yes, I would love to be EXTRA emotional, bloated in my swimsuit, potentially break out and bleeding for wedding night! Yippie! Arrgh. I'm taking them back to back from here on out to try and avoid that fiasco :-(  Wayne and I talked about the wedding over lunch and because SOOO nervous lol. Where did the time go? Jess, are we supposed to turn in a list for Ivan (DJ)? Â

I'll still tip with USD, but it looks like if you are wanting to pay cash, you would need to convert your money before leaving the states or upon arrival...credit cards are the exception. Kinda blows...lol

Elsa is also my coordinator and she is averaging about 5 days; this could be because my wedding is two months out, however. My advice would be to ask your questions here first, because 8 times out of 10, someone here will be able to answer your question. That's what I did and I saved my other questions (that no one could answer) for the WC. Hope this helps :-) Â

They are crooked jerks who are looking for white people to harrass and extort money from. We rented jeeps in Cozumel and had 2 couples in each jeep. Just before we were bringing the jeeps back, the police pulled us over and said we did not slow down over a speedbump. We did slow down because the speedbumps are huge and there is no way you could go over them at full speed. Anyway they said we had to give them $50 per jeep(which they pocketed) and put it discretely in a green notebook that the cop was holding or go to jail. Also 2 of my friends who have never been out of the USA before were walking on the beach just off the resort property (where they rent out jetskis during the day) at about 11:30 pm when some police with machine guns came up to them and told them they were being arrested and that they should give them all the money in their pockets. Well the man only had $1 and his royal keycard, so the police told him to leave his wife there with them and go to the room and get money or his ATM card to pay them. AS IF HE WOULD ACTUALLY LEAVE HIS WIFE WITH THEM!!!!! The cops kept grapping their machine guns. Eventually the couple just turned around and walked toward the resort and the police did not follow them. They kept thinking they were gonna get shot in the back. Needless to say their trip was ruined and they will never go back to Mexico again and probably never go on a beach vacation anywhere but in the USA again. Â

 You can change the script in either ceremony, however it would have to be very short in the legal one and without mention of God. Hi Averie and welcome! I have vacationed in Playa for the past two years (both times in October). I will admit that I got rain both times I was there. In 2008 I got 1 day of rain and a little over overcast and one perfect day (m-f). Last year I think I got 2-3 days of rain, however it only lasts a couple of hours and then beautiful perfect sunshine. I still thoroughly enjoyed it though because the rain clears quickly and it is a lot less expensive (and obviously will be for your guests). The only thing I don't like is the pools are really cold at that time of year if they are not heated (and they aren't at the Royal)- I will be dealing with this because I'm having mine in November this year, but the price really outweighs everything else and like i said, the rain is fleeting. Â I hope this helps! Â

I'm using Ivan Luckie for photography, but I was mainly asking because I didn't know if i should spend the extra money on the sunrise package if it is virtually the same as the included video package (in luxury). Â We got married a month ago because he is Canadian and it just made things easier. I have also thought about this because hey, 400 bucks is 400 bucks. Let me know what your WC says about that (I might make my brother who used to be in the seminary go up there lol)

For those of you with the Luxury package, what is the difference between the included video package and the sunrise package from their video listing? Â I pulled this from the website: Â Professional photographer during the ceremony includes 24 color photos in a CD, video services during the ceremony including a DVD Â so is that a separate photographer and videographer?

 Jess and Natalie, I'm sorry you are stressed :-(. I will keep you both in my prayers. Running Bride, Elsa got back to me and said that the lights under the tables are included for beach receptions and she sent me a nice pic. I had to giggle though because when I asked about the lighted pathway, she quoted me 100 dollars for that. ROFL! I have never seen that charge before but what can you do? Â

OH my gosh! If you haven't already, go back to your message to edit and then at the bottom, check "all of Royal Weddings" and maybe add a comment about your WC being on vacation. I wouldn't normally advise to contact all the WC's but this would definitely qualify as an exception. If you don't get a response today, definitely give them a call before the weekend. Good luck!

 Does Fernando sometimes take a while to respond? I sent the deposit 3.5 weeks ago and he said he was going to confirm with his sister and get back to me, but so far nothing. I emailed him again last week and I still haven't heard back from him, so I emailed him again today.

My dinner reception will start at 6 I think (which should be close to sundown in November). I emailed my WC, so I'll let you know what she says. Is your reception on the beach?
