Menu question. so i finally got an email from Ana to start my planning process and she sent me the Gold menu options, which im not too impressed with. but isnt there a rule that if you have over forty people then you have to have a buffet? I had figuired this whole time on the buffett and I remember reading reviews saying how good it was. Does anyone know what the buffet choices are? was it caribean and/or BBQ? i cant remember. If anyone has this info could you let me know also. im interested in having the cigar roller at my reception. I remember reading back a few months ago that someone had a cigar roller and set it up when they got to the resort but I couldn't find the post. I'm having a legal ceremony and I was told i needed to be there 4 days prior. My wedding is on Saturday and we are arriving Tuesday morning. Lindsay in love when is your wedding? I still havnet gooten a response back fromt he resort after multiple emails ( ic otnacted my TA today for help with this). I'm getting married in 11 weeks.

Hi Ladies, My wedding is May 7th and we leave May3!! 3 months away now! : ) It's great to hear that DRC is finally working on their communication issues, its gives me some hope but I have to say that I haven't been a bride that has emailed the resort a lot, in fact, I haven't really emailed them at all. My whole trip and contract has been set up my awesome TA. but in the past 2 weeks I felt that I should start getting the details together and I really wanted to know about this whole DJ issue and the $500 day pass. Well its been over 2 weeks now and NOTHING! I got a email telling me "Please allow me prepare a resume about your wedding and we can see all the details" and that's it. I don't understand what kind of resume she's getting together since I haven't decided on any details other that my locations for the wedding day. It's really frustrating because I feel as though I've not "bothered" them in all theses months, over a year now, since i decided on DRC and I'm still not getting any kind of response. I would really like to have a final budget together by the end of this month. Ok, thanks for letting me vent! :-/

My wedding is in May and i had planned on using Doremixx. except i was neverr able to get a confirmatin form any of the WC's since they almost refuse to answer any of my questons! And please share the DJ websites when they answer you. i tried googling the dj they lised but wasnt able to find anything. thanks!

2011 May brides, have you booked your airfare yet? I'm flying out of Philly and before the holidays the airfare was around $550 and I thought that was too much for a flight to Mexico and I figured the prices would drop. Well, the prices are now up to $606 for a direct flight. Should I wait to see if they drop or just get the tickets now?

Thats a great idea. I think I may use the bridesmaids bouquets as centerpieces too and it might work out perfectly since i think i will have 6 tables.
