  1. I'm having a catholic ceremony at the Grand Palladium - the NH real, both dreams, and th paradisus, and GBP all offer a catholic ceremony. GP offers a beach reception, it's $60/head.
  2. I'm bringing favors, but the favor is the escort card, which is a luggage tag (a permanent one, not the plastic ones. I want to do OOT bags, and I still probably will, I just may not get real beach totes, and just use a gift bag. I saw one on here that was stamped and looked nice.

  4. good news about the lighted floor, we are booked with Mannia for April!
  5. Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl : Keira Knightley
  6. Congrats!! Once you sent him the paperwork, did you meet with the priest before the wedding again? Did you create programs before you left, and basically knew what the ceremony would be like?

It seems the week I am getting married is a very busy week, and I have just been informed by Carolina that La Uva is booked already for reception. I asked her what else she has to offer but I haven't heard back from her yet. Does anyone know what the options are for private reception that is $1000? Thanks =) are you having a large group? the beach reception at $60/head may be good if you have a smaller group. our reception will be at el bohio since she said the same about la uva a while back. Another option is arrecife for the reception.
  10. dislike (more a wine or mixed drink-er..) dress down days at work?
  11. I am using Shavon for our flowers. My FMIL lives close to her, so she was able to go in person and see them. Shavon then, also sent me, free of charge, a sample of what I wanted (I emailed her a photo of a bouquet I had liked). I LOVED it! I just asked her about creating pomanders for the aisle, and she's developing a quote for those too. I don't have my camera here at work, but, the bouquet I got is on her website here: real touch wedding flowers natural touch flowers real touch bouquet my bouquet is the 3rd from the bottom (scroll way down), with the cymbidium orchids and pink and hot pink roses).
  12. it's beautiful. I love your dress and your veil. Who was the priest that married you both?

DEH, oh do i know! i just made sure that there was a restaurant we could use for our reception - i found out recently that la uva was booked already by another bride! luckily i'll be at el bohio for our reception, which works out great since the vast majority of us are staying at royal suites turquesa, and that's the closest restaurant for us.
