    I thought it'd be a good idea for everyone to post their thank you cards here! I think I'm going to wait until after the wedding to make mine as I want to use our wedding pictures and make a postcard....but then I also wanted to do that for the AHR invites, hahaha. So I need to decide which I'll do instead. Share yours!

    I am putting the Name, city and website. And then listing our own wedding website which has the address and phone number.

    The Dominicans, especially Punta Cana are safe. I know some Dominicans felt it, in citys that are closer to the border but Punta Cana is on the complete opposite side of the Island of Hispaniola from Port Au Prince. I have family in Barahona which is very close to the border, so hopefully everything is calm around there,(we still haven't been able to talk to them).

    yes! post some pictures when your done! Since people are finding it so difficult (i havent attempted one yet) I might end up doing a more simple way of attaching inserts. thanks for your advice ladies!

    So, I'm putting together my invitations, organizing information ect. For inserts, so far I have RSVP & Accomadations(that lists hotel info, travel agent info). Should I be including anything else?? I feel like I am missing something...hmmmm....

    If your having a quirky rsvp, the one for your excursion could say __Yes, take me on an adventure! __ No, will be relaxing at the resort(hmmm, i couldn't think of anything more interesting for that one! but you get the idea!) What excursion are you taking them on?! I would love to do the same but it could get reeeally expensive if theres too many people!

    So I saw instructions on how to make your text go in a circle for word, but how do you do it on powerpoint? I'm so frustrated with trying to make this logo that it will probly not include any clipart. hahah!

    I plan on making my own invitations, I am not a DIY chick, so it's going to be a little bit of trouble. I was thinking of buying pocketfolds online and adding everything in myself. But then I also thought, how hard is it to fold your own paper?? So my question is, is there some sort of "professional" way of folding paper?

    Just curious.... I've been waiting FORREEEVER for Dreams to charge the wedding deposit and she hasn't done so yet. When I gave her all the information, I asked her when it would be charged, and she said in about a week. I think its been about 2 months hahaha! When, if ever, did they charge you ladies the deposit??

    Tam, I think the wind just depends on whats happening weather wise, but regardless the hoopah with linens would look gorgeous blowing in the wind!

    People did say a year would go by fast and now I finally believe it!! Now that we're in the New Year, we are know having to say" We're getting married THIS YEAR!" Crraaaazzyy! I remember when I would say oh not till NEXT october! Oiiih! hahaha! My travel agent is sooo slow at responding to me, I hate it! I want to book for flight & stay RIGHT NOW! :-( I can't wait to here from our recent newlyweds! Hopefully they will have more postive experiences!

    Hi Ladies! I am just starting to make my own invitations which I'll hopefully send out next month. I am just wondering if you ladies will be sending out anything after the invitation before the wedding for your RSVP'd guests. Like some sort of follow up card? Since I'll be sending my invites about 8-7 months before the wedding I feel like I would like some more contact with them as the wedding nears. I've heard of "thanks for booking" cards....just seaching for some ideas and inspiration if you ladies can share! Have a great day!

    Jocy, Where were you planning on having your rehearsal dinner? Is it possible to have your rehearsal dinner in one of the restaurants? I was thinking of just reserving a large table the morning of.

    If you just make a playlist on your ipod with the order of songs that should be easy enough! If your having a trio they play beautiful music while you walk down and as you walk back. And they played "Woman" by John Lennon in spanish for their first dance in the gazebo! It sounded soooo pretty!
