I think the smaller one was $300 an hour with a min' of 2 or 3 hours and the bigger cruise boat was $400. But they do list prices for the centerpieces as well.

As far as your girls questions about the bar areas, its actually funny, because if you look it says they have I think about 7 bars, but what it actually is, is the main bar and all 4 corners of the bar and basically named def'. There is the lobby bar, and then the swim up bar at the pool, and then theres a bar I think thats attached to Pelicons and thats the one that you can sit on swings.

what I actually recieved was menus for cocktails for luxury and ultimate luxury, romantic dinner luxury, romantic dinner enternal romance, private3 hr 4 course menu, 3 course menu for private and semi private reception, vegetarian menu and then a bunch of breakfast menus, and was told to select any 3 salads any 3 entrees and any 3 desserts. I never told her which package I wanted, so was never told about tasting apps' or soups. I think im going to do the package before the one with the cocktail cruise.

I understand the personal preference of PDC over Cancun, and I should be thinking of our guests. I guess we both just really like the idea of it in Cancun because we got engaged there. Our first vaca' we actually went to the bahamas and we always said thats where we were going to get married, however I didnt like one place we looked at in the bahamas, with the exception of the one and only club, but for the price they want we would rather getting married in NYC. We also went through the menus that Kimberly sent us for our tasting I was told to pick 3 salads 3 entrees and 3 deserts, so Im going to list our choices and if any of you ladies had these selections or are going to have a tasting before Nov, I would just like your feed back. The only area we are stuck in is the chicken for the entree, they only have 2 options are both are stuffed with seafood. So that obvsiously wont work the people who dont eat seafood or steak, so we were thinking of having the pasta from the vegetarian menu as another option. Kim said the menus are the same for both Royals, so here goes. SALADS: 1. garden salad with raw veggies mixed with hot almond vinaigrette 2. carribbean salad with shrimp, smoked pineapple.... 3. Avocado stuffed with crab pulp Entrees: 1. beef fillet tournedo w/ 3 peppers sauce 2. salmon fillet varnished w/ sauce bearnaise.... 3. both chickens are stuffed with seafood...from the vegetarian menu, linguini w/ dried tomato sauce? Desserts: (I dont do desserts so Steve picked all of them) 1. tart tatin w/ pear cream & cinnamon caramel 2. cheesecake with chocolate 3. baked pear stuffed with almond mousse

so im begining to get the feeling that I am the only one planning on getting married at the Royal in Cancun. And I dont understand why? I know the beach is much bigger on the property in PDC, but?? What am I missing here? What made all of you girls book the one in PDC over Cancun? My fiance and I stayed there last May and we loved everything!! Were going back nov27th-dec1st to do our site inspection and were also going to visit the property at PDC for a site inspection as well. The WC ive been intouch with said there arent any available saturdays in the month of May or June 2010 at PDC.

Hi Claire, congrats! I assume by the abbreviation you meant the Royal playa del carmen? Im intouch right now with a Lady Kim from the Royals, My fiance and I are trying to select our date either there or the Royal in Cancun(stayed there last summer) according to her RPDC has no saturdays left in May or June. Were considering that Fri, May 21st. We just are unsure if we want to get married at the one in cancun, or pdc. Were going for our site visit in Nov. good luck and if you want kims email PM me, she replies pretty quick.

So Ive seen some really nice photos of some of the girls weddings on here from The Royal in Playa del carmern, and they have lounge furniture, im wondering if that was provided by the hotel are through a vendor? and if a vendor if someone can tell me the site or a contact info. ive tried to PM a few girls that I saw that had it, but apparently I cant PM yet? Thanks girls! Amdecker - does the RUI in cancun require 80% of your total wedding party to stay at the rui? We looked at the one in Jamaica and the big castle one in Cabo, they both had that requirement.

Ive emailed the address that is given on the website for a WC at The Royal Cancun almost 4 times now and still no response. Steven & I will be staying there in Nov' (stayed there last year) and I really am hoping to lock in a meeting with a WC while we are there. Am curious if there are any past or future Royal brides on here that maybe have a direct email? Thanks so much!

Hello Hello! so Steve and I just booked our trip out to Cancun for the last weekend of Novemeber into Decemember, staying at The Royal Cancun, again. Let the wedding plans begin!! We are going to try and meet with some photographers while we are there as well as hopefully have a meeting with a WC at the Royal, Ive emailed a few times and no response yet! We do though want to scout out atleast another 3 hotels while were there, any suggestions??

Hi Ladies. Im Jessica from Staten Island, NY. My fiance and I will be traveling to Cancun, Mexico in Nov to have a meeting with a wedding coordinator from The Royal Cancun, we are stoked to actually start planning our wedding. Steve proposed last year while we were vacationing at The Royal Cancun, everything about this hotel was amazing! I havent seen any pictures of weddings there, but there packages and prices seem by far the best we've come across. Any info or pictures about weddings @ the royal will be much appreciated. Wedding being planned for May or June of 2010.
