Getting married in April, Jamaica! Date: April 24th, 2010 Where: Beaches, Negril I am so excited, I dream about islands every night. Not only is it a wedding but a great vacation too. Can I just skip through January and February. Its cold here in CO. :-) Good luck ladies and let me know if you are at Beaches too!

Hello All! New to this thread and message board, but we are getting married April 24th, 2010 at Beaches Negril. So excited to have the wedding of our dreams, and its great to collaborate with other like-minded brides out there!

Hi JennaLynn544, We are considering something similar too, we have talented family members. I have heard that as long as your friend doesn't have TOO professional of equipment and stays out of the resort photographer's way, you shouldn't have a problem. If they are trying to set up difficult shots and taking the resort photographers' time then you could be in trouble. If your friend is a paid guest at the resort, who cares if she has a nice camera and a photographer's eye!?!?! Hope it helps. The photography is one of the main details that I am stressed about too! I would be interested to see photos from the actual Beaches Negril resort photographers. Hockeymom... what a good suggestion to split photographer costs.... Any Late April Brides interested April 24, 2010 is our date, I think it is a clever idea!
