  1. I'm having pashminas for my favors(women) and something else for guys. Regular favor size boxes don't work (too small), so I was thinking of having regular gift paper bags with a tissue paper inside and a favor in it with a label on the outside of the bag with the guest name and table number... Does it sound weird?
  2. I'm in the same boat - 22 people. I am doing seating chart but am still thinking if I should just assign tables or should I assign the seats as well. The middle school teacher in me wants to have all under control We are having 4 tables of 6 (the restaurant owner said it would work better for the venue)
  3. I'm trying to get as much out of vista print as I can and my next idea is using business cards as favors tags. Has anyone done it? were they too big? How did they turn out? can you post a picture? thank you!
  4. I don't want to go with the standard number type of deal for the reception tables. I'm thinking of naming them after islands in Turks and Caicos which is where my wedding takes place... but I'm not sure just yet. What are you using for yours?
  5. Here's my first DIY project. Thank you ALL for posting wonderful ideas because my brochure is 90% has been borrowed from other forum members... thank you thank you thank you!
  6. I'm having a bit of a dilemma. We are having 21 guests and I am thinking of setting the tables in a square with 6 people on each side so everyone sits pretty much at the same table. First of all, is this stupid? should I go for separate tables? and now the question, should I even bother with a separate table for placecards? and if so, how do I let the guests know which side of the square they sit at? thank you!
  7. I hope there is somebody here living in or having a pretty good knowledge about flower shops in Turks and Caicos. I'm thinking of doing my centerpieces myself. My wedding is in December and I want to use blue hydrangea. Is it possible to buy those in a flower shop there?
  8. I'm so bookmarking that website! Thank you! I feel all inspired and will try to do one tomorrow. I will post a picture for your feedback.
  9. I want to have this kind of centerpieces, but I got quoted $80 per piece. I almost agreed to pay that much but then looking at the picture, it can't be that hard to do. The flowers are easy, but what do you do for the grass inside? is there something I can buy here and assemble it at the destination?
  10. Ladies! I need your help. My favor tag for pashminas reads "to have and to hold to keep you from cold". Now guys are going to get cigars for their favors but I can't come up with wording for the tags... of course I can go with simple "thank you" and will if I can't come up with anything else...but I'd love to do something that starts with "to have and to hold...." Any ideas thank you!
  11. Are you using real flowers or not? and if not, where do you get your hair flowers?
  12. Welcome and Happy planning!
  13. Our song is "Your Love" by Keb Mo... it's not a very traditional first song dance but I liked that it's not too slow and has a nice blues beat to it.

I'm doing the same thing! have you bought your pashminas and cigars yet?
