    I could recommend Sullivan's Island, SC. it's where I am getting married- it's very low key, yet 10 minutes from Charleston which has a ton of shopping and touring and GOOD food. The beaches are never super-crowded and there are no giant high-rises or hotels on the beach. Just a suggestion! ETA: downside might be that they don't allow alcohol on the beach

    Also true, which helps with maintenance. I mean who wants to be at goal weight and having to eat 900 cals to maintain because their metabolisms aren't up to par because of lost muscle mass, right?

    That's not to say you can't lose weight without exercising, but really- unless you are a major athlete (and thus putting a lot of time into it)- exercise doesn't burn all that much for the effort you put into it.

    I confess that although my sister got admitted to a mental facility (AGAIN) today, I don't feel like worrying with her. 29 years of this is enough, thank you.
