  1. Amy- I would focus on Vegas too! Those pictures can be VERY overwhelming. I don't even know how I will pick the Thank You picture. It's one thing to do an album of 100-200, but ONE picture to say Thanks for making the trip to Mexico..UGH!! That's a tough choice.
  2. Linds - I think that it's a tough position to be in. One can never assume that a parent or parents should pay for any part of the wedding. I know from experience, I didn't want to assume, although my parents helped, as did his, but until I had the dreaded conversation with my parents I wasn't banking on their support. Times are EXTREMELY different then years ago when the brides family paid. I think the best way to handle this is to talk to your mom. Nothing will be resolved by assuming and not talking about it. Old fashinioned or not, she may surprise you. Just talk it out and make it point that you need to nail down your budget and you don't want to take anything for granted...
  3. The video is hysterical...we are having everyone over, to watch it...they really did a great job. The dancing is classic...but the ceremony is beautiful too!
  4. Okay girls, I posted some =) http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...cs-some-60633/
  5. So we got the CD and video yesterday...we were dying for it!! Looking foward to the slideshow...I'll post when it becomes available. here are some teasers:
  6. So my husband is home today and FedEx delivered the photos and I think the video...but I won't let him look at it until I get home. This day is just dragging on...I want to see my pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Nadia, We did them through my husband's company. He is in event marketing. We had better prices from local places and not anything on-line. I would try loca sports stores. Also you may want to look into buying the T-shirts already and only asking a place to do the screen and print. You can find white T-shirts all over.

The pants and sleeves come up short and the pants are baggy in the butt and thigh. I submitted a complaint to them to see what they can do but we have about 7 weeks left now so we are working on a plan B. I'm really, really disappointed cos we spent so much money and most other people had rave reviews. We purchased 8 suits from them. Grrrrr!!!!! Any ideas on what stores are carrying linen suits this year? Sorry you didn't have much luck. But maybe it would be best to bring the suit to a tailor. We ordered 8 suits and 1 was a little snug. We brought it to a tailor and they fixed the butt area and let it out =) they also took out the seem in the seat area and that helped a lot. It would definitely be cheaper than buying a new suit.

I love the area that it's in since it's not right in the middle of a crowded town. The inside is very cute and different. I love that the outside is almost like a little town center. Do you know if it's registered and valid with the Catholic Church? They told us it is. Did you have any issues when you came home? The priest we spoke to from home told us that churches in a resort are not sanctioned by the Catholic church. We used the church as our symbol of religion. We did not have a religious ceremony and are not registering with a church by us. When we have children and go through the christening process, they just need to see that it was legal. But this all depends on your church, we are not that religious and it was more the 'meaning' behind the chapel. I don't really know what type of documentation your church would need. - Sorry.
  17. Amy - I would check VISTA print. Although I didn't use them, I have read nothing bu great reviews. Cheap and easy to work with. Good Luck!!!
  18. Diane - I love the hair piece and your flowers are amazing. Your review will help out a lot of new brides!! Congrats again!

To go from $650 to $900 is a little much in my opinion!! I completely agree...that's a lot.
