  1. I will be having all of my family pack the contents in their bags. I wouldn't recommend shipping it prior as I ah ve heard horror stories and crazy tax expenses. But another thing to worry about is how many airlines are now charging for extra ags of (1) per customer. We are doing t-shirts, a map of resort, English-Spanish easy translations, advil, munchies, drink coolers and maybe rafts for the pool. Just some thoughts...
  2. I agree, I think that works for the parents not paying as well, paying for them is a GREAT gift. As for your parents helping that's a tricky situation, but whatever you do decide I would do it privately so his mom won't feel slighted even though her trip is paid for. Or if it's a known thing and "okay", you can annouce at the rehersal dinner what you gave each of them and how your wedding wouldn't have been possible without their support. Traditional ways of the brides family paying are very uncommon now a days, so I think it's necessary to thank all who contributed. Hope that helps. In terms of the gift...I'm at a loss

  4. I think that 'Invitation To Follow' is good. Attached is our save the date, they went out 2 weeks ago. We have gotten SOOO man compliments. They are just very "us". We aren't formal at all Final Save the Date.pdf
  5. Hi all, I am a Newbie getting married May 1, 2010 at the Iberostar Del Mar in Riveria Maya. We are heading down June 11-15 to check things out, but I have been there already and I love it!!! This will be my 6th trip to an Iberostar, these resorts are awesome. Good luck to all of you and Congrats to those brides past =)
