I am getting married at RPTB as well. I just asked Keneika about the Western Digital Photography today and she is sending me a cd that shows their pictures this way I can get an idea of their style, etc.. She also said that they do not have a web site yet which I hate. E-mail her and ask her to send you one. If I don't like what the have to offer, I will be going with Sun Gold Photography.

Does anyone have any information on a bakery in Negril that will deliver to Riu Palace Tropical Bay?

We are having our 4 year old (she will be 5 by the time we get married) daughter be our flower girl. I can't wait to pick out her dress!

Thank all of you! I feel much better about everything. My gut instinct is telling me to stick with Jamaica and the Riu Palace Tropical Bay. I just hope the rates my travel agent gives me aren't any more expensive than what she quoted for "future space".

Thank you! I was thinking before that this is what I want so I am having the wedding at Riu. I was just going to throw a post-wedding party for those who didn't make it. But then more and more people are saying they won't be able to make it. It's upsetting and it's a hard decision to make. Do I sacrifice my beach wedding for family or do I leave my family behind to have the wedding of my dreams? I guess the answers are simple but I don't want to make a decision that I will regret later.

I am so frustrated and don't know what to do right now. I have my wedding date booked for March 30, 2010 at Riu Palace Tropical Bay. We are going to start booking rooms in may when the rates are available for March 2010. The only problem is, I am having a lot of people say they won't make it because they can't afford it. This would leave me with only my wedding party, my fiance and I, and our parents attending my wedding. I really want a beach wedding but at the same time I want everyone to be able to come. I already ordered my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. They are everything I wanted, but I kinda picked them out to match the beach theme. I don't know what to do. Is anyone else in this same situation? Any advice?

Don't worry! You will get confirmation soon! I'm getting married at the Tropical Bay Resort. I wasn't expecting to get mine as fast as I did. But, definitely don't be afraid to contact them if your worried about it.

Our wedding date is March 30, 2010. We picked this date because we officially started dating on March 30, 2003 (03/30/03). =) I wasn't going to settle for any other date and luckily we were able to book it!!

I booked my wedding date through Riu online. I received confirmation within two days and am happy that my wedding is confirmed for March 30, 2010 at 4pm. I didn't get any forms or packets in the mail. It must be something your travel agency does.

My maid of honor is wearing this one in tangelo: My bridesmaids will be wearing these in coral and sunshine: The colors are tangelo, coral, and sunshine. The actual colors look different and better than what the internet picture depicts.

I was looking around for unity candles and I came across something different. It is called unity sand. It's used in place of the candles. It includes on big vase and two smaller ones. The small ones each have a different color. Instead of lighting a candle, the bride and groom poor the sand into the bigger vase. I thought this would be neat since I am getting married on the beach in Jamaica, but I also favor the unity candles. What do you think??

I'm having my wedding March 30 2010 simply because it is on the anniversary of when we became "officially" together. I've heard that the weather is really nice in March. My travel agent keeps in touch with me on a regular basis, and so far all the stories from her clients say that March was beautiful and perfect!

I'm getting married in March 2010. I wanted to make sure I gave everyone plenty of notice and time to book hotel rooms since we are getting married in Jamaica. I sent out the invitations, r.s.v.p.'s, and an accommodation card which is very basic and instructs the guests to contact me for booking information for the resort and flights. I can show pictures if you would like. But, it's really up to you when you want to send everything out.
