Ok, I am confused. Do I need to do anything before leaving the states? Or can we do everything in Jamaica and then get the info sent to me after the wedding? Please help! I don't know a lot about the legal aspects of all of this! Thanks ladies.

Briscoecrown, congrats on your recent wedding! I love your set up--it looks amazing. I am so happy to see pictures of real wedding at IRHS. I have a price list from Sun Gold that I received a couple of weeks ago. I also have the website where you can check out past weddings the associates have done. Our wedding isn't until June of 2010 so I was able to get Paula and Damian. However, it seems that their dates get booked very quickly. We chose to go with the gold package which is $3500. Photography is where we are willing to spend a large part of our budget. Email me and I will be glad to e-mail you their prices and prices for the associates ([email protected]). Paula typically responds within 24-48 hours. I e-mailed her last week, and still haven't heard back. I'm guessing they are probably away for the holiday. She is normally fantastic. I am so excited to say that we just booked our wedding at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites for June 18, 2010! After hours of searching the internet and switching from the Iberostar in Mexico, I am thrilled with our choice!! The wedding coordinators seem great, and we also booked with Paula & Damian from SunGold Photography. Less than 13 months to go--yea!!

I also just booked with Sungold for June of 2010. I am so excited! Their pictures are beautiful, and Paula has been wonderful to answer questions and help me out. I am so excited to get Paula and Damien since they only do 4 weddings each month. I would also love to hear about any past bride's experience!

I am so excited to see another Texas bride on this forum on plans to get married in Jamaica. I am also planning to get married in June of 2010, but am having the hardest time choosing a resort. Ladies who chose Iberostar Rose Hall Suites, what made you choose this resort? It looks beautiful, but a couple of the pictures I have seen on the beach aren't too great! I'm so confused about what to do!!

Christina, I am considering Iberostar Rose Hall for my June 2010 wedding. However, I am not going to be able to do a site inspection. What did you think?
