  1. I never watch this show but decided to watch it out of boredom last night and all I can say is that Buzz guy (the astronaut) ....WOW ....So stiff ...it was horrible but mildly amusing ...I'll probably watch again, it's worth a good laugh! I too thought pamela would topple over due to the size of her boobs lol
  2. I sure wish I saw this like 3 month's ago! I was searching all over for a DJ in Ocho Rios and just ended up going with the resort DJ. Welcome though!!!!
  3. I gave all my bridesmaids and MOH the same gifts. They all worked equally as hard at everything for me so I just had a dinner and handed the same thing out to all of them!
  4. I didn't even think about tipping anything to do with the wedding before we left but I did end up tipping each waiter, the DJ and the bartenders $20 each that night because they went above and beyond. I definitely regret not thinking about this beforehand. It would have been nice to have thank you cards etc for the wedding coordinator and others.

I can't do it! It takes up hours of time that I don't really have lol
  6. I did DIY Boarding pass invites but got help from Shelyn Olson @ Expression Invites (she is in lake Bonivista) She does any kind of invite style you like and she was cheap! (not in her work haha...the money) Home
  7. Congrats ...I sure miss that place!!! Im glad your wedding was amazing! Enjoy your honeymoon
  8. Man oh man Cara....I thought was stressed planning my wedding, I can't imagine what you are going through right now!! I hope once you get there (and you will get there!!!) that you have the most amazing time of your life!!
  9. I didn't bring alot of stuff but I just packed it into 3 different carry on suitcases and got a couple family members to bring one each. It was really easy (though I was worried about it like crazy before haha)
  10. I had 8 people per table. I don't think I would have more than that. Here's a pic:

If I straighten it there, it'll just become really frizzy due to the humidity. I'm thinking about getting some extensions but am not sure what to get, or where, or if it's a good idea. So hopefully you can help me out. Thanks, Cara Hey Cara Yup...definitely have curly frizzy hair! I did get extensions. My real hair got pulled back in a side ponytail and hair sprayed and then the extensions got put in and curled. It lasted from 11 am until well after midnight and looked perfect, I would definitely recommend them. I can't remember the brand I got but they came from a hair salon. I got the 18" clip-in's and got them dyed to match my hair 2 weeks before we left. Their pretty expensive, mine were $170 and that was with a hairsylist's discount. (They are real hair too so you can style them etc.) My stylist in Jamaica tried to but them from me because she thought they matched so well haha
  12. I looked HOT! haha I left -20 degrees celsius and entered 30 degrees celsius so I wore a summer dress with black solid tights underneath skate shoes and a hoodie over top. When we landed I took off the tights and hoodie and swapped my shoes for flip flops. I looke hilarious but I sure was comfy lol
  13. That seriously just made my day!!!! Get over it hahahahaha!!!
  14. I would either talk to them about it, their usually pretty good or just don't go with a package at all. Stick with the free one..unless you really want everything included in it. In my situation it was cheaper for me to do everything separate than in the package.

He's been off for a week or so, so I have to say I guess I kinda saw it coming. There's not alot of work out there at the moment and he got laid off. booooooo.... enough about that though. He'll get something soon i hope. Menial compared to what others are going though. Also, the price list for our resort's wedding costs came yesterday. Not a moment too soon either. Seems like we've actually chosen the worlds most expensive hotel to get married at. AND such good timing too!!!! LOL all there's left to do is shake my head and laugh I guess!!! That really sucks!!! With both the hotel and your cousin..I guess all you can do is brush it off and keep going lol. Good luck with the fiance's job hunt Oh and Thanks !!!
  16. I just did that trip in February and it took 2.5 hours. It really didn't feel that long and the sunset is definately worth it! We did this Negril Sunset tour through sunquest at the resort and it only cost us 50 bucks for the whole day ; left at 7:30am and returned at 9 pm. We got to spend the whole day on the beach and then go to Rick's

I am actually dying to go to Kleinfelds and was thinking of doing it in June anyway but maybe I am cutting the whole November wedding too close, cause if I get it in June to get it by end of October is 4.5ish months If you make a trip to Edmonton I loooooved Pure Bridal. I hated the bridal centre just because like the other girls said you just have to sit there and wait for them to bring you dresses and I felt like I was being pushed out quickly. Good luck shopping
  18. Thanks ladies!!!! Echo- my mom actually bought a pair for everyone in our wedding party a couple months before the wedding and handed them out there. I thought it was a super cute Idea and they have our wedding date year on them lol. We got a whole bunch of pictures done with them on but that's the only one I got back from my photographer so far
  19. I saw a set up like this when I was there. It looked really beautiful!
  20. Man oh man you are both going through such a tough time! It will get better!!!! Everything truly does happen for a reason!!! Nadine- super hot pic....I love it!
