Hi All, The more I research, the more I love the Grand Palladium. But I have a few questions that I can't find answers to which might be a deal breaker for us. I am putting them below. Any help would be great! Thanks 1.) Can you specif who you want your officiant to be? We will already be legally married and would like to have a cosmic ceremony by Maria and Charlie. Is a symbolic cosmic ceremony by Maria & Charlie possible? 2.) Is it possible to bring a fake bouquet instead? I am allergic to pollen and I can't have a real bouquet. 3.) Can we replace the red carpet walkway to the garden gazebo with our own runner? 4.) Can we bring our own decorations and set them up? Things like chair ties, decorations for the pillars, etc. 5.) What times are ceremonies held? 6.) Besides the gazebo is there a Chuppah on the beach for the ceremony? 7.) Are the resort actives fun for all ages? We have ages 20-65 going and none of them are big drinkers. I want to make sure they will have a good time. 8.) Is dinner on the beach for our reception a possibility? 9.) Do the sit down restaurants offer breakfast and lunch? 10.) Do we need to buy a wedding package at all or can we get one customized to meet our needs? As you can see we really don't need/want many of the things in the standard package. What are our options? I don't want to pay for a bunch of things we don't want. The only things we really want is the location, chairs and table.

Hi all, How did you find a TA? We started with one a few weeks ago but due to lack of responsiveness we are looking to switch. We are looking for someone who knows the Riviera Maya area around PDC. Hi All, Working on designing my own pocketfold template for a square invite. I found square 6" outside envelopes. If I use these, how big should the invite/pocketfold envelope be to fit correctly into the outside envelope? 5.5"? Thanks for the help!

Why does everyone hate eHarmony?

I know how hard this must be on you, I lost my father 2 years ago. The best piece of advice I can give you is to stop and grieve, don't worry about anything else like the wedding. The first few weeks are probably the worst and even just waking up in the morning feels like to much sometimes. I know for me that even the little mundane things made me either want to cry or scream during that time. After the funeral is over and you have been back to your daily routines for a couple weeks, that is the best time to start thinking about the wedding again. It will seem less overwhelming and you will be able to see things from perspectives other than the grieving process. Please let us know if there is anything you need or anything we can do to support you. We are here to listen even if its just to talk.

I am so happy for you that you dad is going to see you married. I know how much it means. Enjoy your day and then come back to us and brag all about it. We will be waiting.

Are you just place the name or is it the RUI logo? The logo is where you would get into trouble.

I have always liked it in a wedding where instead of the bride and groom walking back down the aisle they stop at each each row to get their congrats. Kind of like how an usher does it in church...
