My heart goes out to you. I think you might benefit from getting a WC that is not tied to a resort. That way they will know of all of the different wedding venue options that will best suit your needs and that are available. I think it will be worth it for you. You are too close not to enjoy this. As far as your FI goes I think guys get worked up about weddings just as much as we do, but they dont know how to always comunicate it. The thing that you always have to remember is that in the end > all he cares about is getting that ring on your finger and being married to you. That is what its all about after all, isn't it? Let your WC handle all of the "other" stuff. Good luck!

Ok Guys so sorry that I quoted that entire post on my previous entry - I am a noobie and promsie to learn from my mistakes!! I am going to make up for it by posting these instructions on how to make passport covers yourself that look like the one below (I found it on the DIY Ntwrk). It is a great alternative for trying to make one's that are thicker than paper. I am going to attempt them and I will post them once I do! Passport Cover.ppt

This is very tough!! This is YOUR WEDDING and you have to do what makes you happy! If being on the beat in St. Lucia is the wedding of your dreams - then you need to not look back and just know that those that can make it there will be there. If having everyone there is the most important thing to you (and you know realistically they cant handle the trip) then you have to weigh whats most important to you. Personally I was going to have my wedding at home, however, my guest list was getting to be out of control and felt a lot of pressure and not to mention the cost that I was starting to rack up!! So 2 weeks ago we decided to cancel the wedding at home and take off. We know that not everyone will be able to make it, but I know that the most important one's can make it. They find a way one way or another. That was long winded but you have to be selfish - I made a lot of people mad, but at the end of the day its about you and him. What will make you happy - you only get to be selfish once! Good luck!!!

Trish that is great!!! Who did your stationary, invites, etc? Also - the towel is a great idea, where did you get those made?
