Guess who just got a Christmas bonus!!! And it could not have come at a better time!!!! I really didn't expect one this year since we are really downsizing - there have been a bunch of lay offs in the last couple of months, plus people being cut back hours (myself included). But it is soooo appreciated (and needed!) I'm going to take some of it & buy FI a watch that he has been talking about for months - it will be his wedding present...and a total surprise! I just hope he doesn't buy it for himself between now & then! I am only going to tell him I got a little bonus...so that he still thinks I don't have the funds for the watch!!

Believe me...its not the weather!!! Just the scenery...the ocean & the mountains...lush green forests! It really is beautiful there! probably one of the most famous pics...you can actually hike to where this guy is standing! Sorry for the hijack!! - but it's what I do best! lol

I say dance when you want to dance!! It's your wedding and you can do what you want!! I personally (well...we!) will be doing our dance right after the ceremony. We'll be doing a toast...then right into the dance! It helps that our ceremony location will be on a clifftop gazebo overlooking the ocean!! It's just such a beautiful spot that I couldn't imagine dancing our first song as husband & wife anywhere else!!

I'm not even sure if FI knows what date we're getting married!!! He knows that we leave for the sun on January 18th...but everything else is pretty much up to me. I did put him in charge of his stuff...clothes, sandals, BMs gift & most of that is taken care of. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get him to do the TTD shoot - he says the wedding day is my day, but the rest of the "trip" is his time to relax & not be running around having pictures taken, etc! It really pisses me off!!! This is our wedding week -Not just a vacation (although I am looking forward to some R&R too!!) I'm hoping I can sit him down in front of the computer long enough to show him some pics & maybe he'll get it - but I won't hold my breath!!

I hear you Christene!! FI has almost zero interest in the wedding - & sees no urgency in any of it!! The only thing he really took charge of was our documents. But I've left him to do his own thing - he's responsible for his stuff...clothes, sandals, BM's gift. If he doesn't get it all then so be it!! I'm glad I'm not the only one starting to FREAK!!! I can't believe that it's only one month from tomorrow until we leave!! CRAP!!! (but yay at the same time!!) We got our translated documents in the mail yesterday so I'm going to fax them to the resort today & hopefully everything is ok with them! FI still needs footwear...but that's on him - if he leaves it & has to go barefoot that's tough shit for him!! lol I need to make my hair appt for the wedding day - find tanks & tranfers to iron on for me, FI, MOH & BM. Finish welcome books & figure out how bind them for almost $0!! Finish photo list, create CD (only ceremony songs & then one to bring with us to the disco), convince FI to do a TTD! Get Bubba Kegs for attendants & engrave them, OMG...I have to write my VOWS!!! I am soooo not ready!!!!

Ok...we need another game now!!! What else am I going to do for the rest of the day!!??
