  1. Congrats ladies!!! Extremely deserving, so happy for you both!
  2. Hey Amy! We miss you, all of us that started on this thread together now are almost all Mrs.! I think Lindz is the last of the old group to get married!! We have a whole new batch of bride-to-be's, so exciting!!
  3. You look gorgeous in your dress! Great planning thread, can't wait to see pictures upon your return!

Well, it still hadn't shown up on my statement, so I contacted her today and low and behold, they were never ordered. I am soooo sad! I am getting married in 3 weeks and I want these shoes - in the gold and ivory!!!! As of right now, I just have another backup pair that I was keeping until I got these ones. Do any of you ladies live near a J. Crew? I am a size 8. I would love you forever......... I live across the street from a JCrew!! I'm going to check for you tomorrow and let you know if I found them. So you need both gold & ivory in a size 8?
  5. Meghan - Welcome back and congrats Mrs!!! I saw your photos, that dress is gorgeous, everything did look perfect! Amanda - I'm pretty sure Chris can make whatever you want To upload a picture into your signature go to the CP area and click 'edit signature' browse and upload a picture. To share pictures, like Nicole said, just upload into photobucket and copy and paste the 4th code underneath the image and paste it.
  6. Thank you all so much!! I love all your sweet comments <3 Magalie - That's actually a really great idea! I almost got teary-eyed during it but Elvis is what saved me too Rachel - I didn't know you you had your legal day in Vegas too! So fun!
  7. LOL, busted Autumn! Ok fine, 2 more dresses... I was going to get into details on my review/planning thread I promise!

Where did you guys shoot the session? Wow, that is a steal! Chris helped me put together a GORGEOUS book for DH as well, I love working with him. We shot his session at his house believe it or not in his room. It was actually really comfortable, his wife was downstairs and she's the coolest chick ever. Those two are so cool and accommodating, I can't recommend him highly enough.
  9. Thanks Skadow! Yeah, exactly, they are all so different too, our engagement, BD, wedding, TTD, then Vegas. I had to promise my husband no more photos until I'm pregnant, LOL
  10. Oh yes my Frank picture and the Chapel one, so Vegas, I love! LOL - You noticed that eh? That's my photographers favorite picture.
  11. I absolutely love Bethenny! Can't wait to see her wedding next week
  12. Maggie & Celina - You girls should do a BD shoot, it was the most empowering feeling ever to take those photos for my husband and blow his mind. It felt amazing and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! My photographer told me this, all you need is good hair & makeup (pro), music and booze. He was right, I brought my BFF with me too and we drank and had a BLAST. It was so much fun.
  13. As most of you may know, legal weddings in Mexico require a blood test (around $500) and then English translation (around $120) here in California. I'm deathly afraid of needles so thought, Vegas, it's a 45 minute flight and it's a good reason to have a fun weekend. What started with the 2 of us and our MOH & BM turned into a 30 of us, cupcakes, another bouquet, another dress, 30 person limo, MGM Skyloft Suite, fun sunglasses and a 50's Elvis theme Here are some pro pix with the video of the ceremony linked within my photographer's blog. Elvis Vegas Wedding| Amy +Daylen | Chris Schmitt Photography Blog Here are a few non-pro pictures too: Side of the freeway Party bus entertainment Sneak photos in chapel Review/planning thread coming soon!

Your pix were soooo hot girl, Ryan's gonna die Quote: Originally Posted by bigboponthebeach Okay, I uploaded them to Snapfish and I will pm you the link. I had a shot of Patron and two glasses of red wine to get me amp'ed up to do it! And even then you will see this nervous tense look on my face at times. I just kept thinking how excited FI would be to know I thought enough of him to do something special that took me out my normal box. :-) It was so hard to just let myself go and while my friend was really comfy and funny during the shoot, I kept finding myself trying to stay covered up! It was weird, almost like I didn't want to offend him by flashing him! LOL I went to HS with his wife and I kept trying to be "respectful" of her. LOL They are by no means the best of work and he's just starting out and I think it shows in some of the photos (or maybe it was just me). :-) Check 'em out! Just saw them and wrote you back with my favorites! I love them, I don't think you look nervous at all, I think you're a very pretty girl and your FI is going to adore them! How funny, I had a patron shot and I think 2-3 glasses of wine... my shoot was over 4 hours long! I brought my BF with me who convinced me to go topless and eventually naked... don't know how she managed that one but I'm happy I did it. That photo ended up going on my photographers blog you can't see my face or any parts but I think I fell out of my chairs when someone pointed that out.
  15. You can upload them onto Snapfish or Photobucket.com and email or PM us the link and then take them down in a week or so after we've all seen them. How exciting! Weren't those fun pictures?! I really would do that again, I had such a blast doing it and DH cried when they were delivered to him wedding day by my MOH Strange reaction but he loved them none the less.
  16. Woo hoo Cassie! It's Friday on a long weekend and my birthday is on the 4th
  17. It's the little things that do it, I get excited with every new banner I get, I can't wait for my 3rd!

So, he doesn't have to think too much about it. I am sure he ordered 3 bottles of Veuve for their party and thought "I bet Lindz would love this too!!!!" But yes, super sweet!!! PS, I had my FINAL cheat meal tonight...we had date night (with my wedding stuff in tow, I must add...while we are at dinner...doing wedding stuff)...so more fish and veggies for me for the next 4 weeks...and lot's wine of course! That's one thing I cannot do without. I love how you’re telling us to not to excited about your FI! Cracks me up!!! He seems sweet, you’re a lucky girl. I lost the romance battle a long time ago, DH doesn’t have a romantic bone in his body! You my friend are so freaking skinny it makes me want to cry, you’re body rocks. Mine is sloppy at this point, so sad. I need to calm down on my partying/celebrating. Quote: Originally Posted by ~Nicole~ OMG don't even get me started on the internet friend thing lol. "Uh I'm having a girls weekend with my internet friends" lol. DH is finally coming around.... but he still thinks its weird. I've met Cassie, you're going to LOVE her . She's the sweetest girl ever. I always felt out of place on the forum because I thought I was the ONLY person not doing a huge wedding, but honestly if it doesn't work for you, don't be intimidated. I only had 7 guests, not kidding lol. I didn't do a private reception and I wouldn't change a thing. I honestly did minimal planning. Read my planning thread (link below) and you'll see lol. I was prob the worst bride ever, but whatevs! I had soo much fun. I know I’m so jealous! I so badly want to go to one of your meetups, I know I’d have a blast with you girls  She seems super sweet, can’t wait to meet her, her wedding looks like it will be a lot of fun! You were the best bride, totally calm, wise with your words and large or small it doesn’t even matter because you had a great time! I see a lot of people saying they will be renting equipment? Is the reception included in your package? Thanks in advance, i'm looking forward to hearing what everyone is planning! Congrats and welcome!!! None of the packages include a DJ. You can rent equipment that is speakers, mic & ipod hookup which is an option over a DJ to keep the costs down. I wouldn't normally add that extra task onto my life, but half the people brought gifts, so I'll just include it in their thank you's. OMG I love this story! The way you describe it all with such a good attitude is quite amusing. You got some really good side-of-the-highway pics out of it! I totally thought those were just made up shots. I'm glad it all worked out, but I do hope you raise some holy hell from them. BTW, love it that you're changing your siggy pic so often. It's fun to see all the different pics! Are you kidding me, your New England-themed AHR is going to be a blast!! I can't wait to see the pictures. When is it Yeah, in the grand scheme on things, no one knew and it’s no biggie. Good plan on the favors, that will be such a nice surprise. Thank you! I am such a story teller, so I try and keep it concise, I could pound out 1,000 words without blinking so please stop me if I ever get tooooo wordy  Thanks! I’m a photo whore so this whole picture thing is feeding my fire! I agree! Amy your AHR is going to be a BLLAAAASSSSTTT I can’t wait to hear about it and see pix! Ceremony set up (completely last minute) We winged the dinner. During our on site meeting they told me that they would let us do our dinner at Siena since we were such a small group. When we got there they had arranged for us to have our own private room. Small room, but I appreciated it. We had our own servers in the room for the whole time and they even went over and above by entertaining us with the tradition of tequila poppers. It was a blast. We were there until after 9pm and I think we scheduled dinner for around 5pm. Here was the room for the dinner: Now having been to AS I know where this is, what a brilliant choice for a ceremony. I actually think it looks great, good view, super perfect! Man the hallway of building 3? That doesn’t even make sense… I love the intimacy of your wedding, I bet everyone had a great time! Today is my first real day off and I plan on spending the entire thing in my pajammies, my booty firmly planted on the couch. My two dogs are keeping me company So I'm most likely no longer an Azul Beach bride, either. They are giving us the run-around on the construction plans. First they told us that construction would begin in August and go through Feb/March 2011. Then they said nope...we're going to try to get done in time for Christmas....we'll have the final construction plans done on Wednesday (two days ago). Wednesday rolled around, and they said they needed more time to finalize plans. I'm just over it all. My biggest fear is that even if they say they'll be done by Christmas, they'll go over and my wedding would be smack dab in the middle of construction. My TA asked for a quote for Sensatori, and they were "kind" enough to give us a "great" deal...$7 cheaper per person than our quote at Azul Beach. That's right, $7. There's no zero missing AS looks like a stunning resort, but honestly I'm just so mad at Karisma right now for this run-around I want to wash my hands of them. So...not sure where I'll be getting married, but it will be somewhere in the Riviera Maya (since we've already booked our flights). You ladies have been the BEST support system, and I will definitely keep reading this thread to see all of the upcoming brides' weddings. Good luck to everyone!!! Sorry to hear this, good luck on your next location!
  19. Happy Wedding Day Meghan!! Hope your day was amazing, can't wait to hear all about it
