Thank you Tammy, Joann V & Eddie Q wedding date May 26, 2009 Dreams Tulum AM resorts, Please give us a clear understanding of the situation at Dreams Tulum. we are left with questions, phone calls and emails unanswered. We have invested in alot of time and money, and a simple official statement with a timeline of when these issues will be resolved would ease many! Please take into consideration the Brides & Grooms, families and guest that have put their hearts into your Dreams Tulum resort and you have neglected to communicate any feedback regarding the closing of this resort. Will our Dream wedding come true?

i agree with the girls as well! this is your wedding and its what you want, not what they want!!they need to support you and if they dont then sadly they miss out on one of the most important days of your life!! in my case certain close family members keep maling excuses on booking the trip. i am not going to worry about it!! all thats important is me walking down the aisle on the beach to him!!

please keep us posted with any info you get on this. i went on tripadvisor and saw pics of the resort and its absolutly beautiful!! just looking for other options in case tulum does not reopen and then i need to scout out other locations for my wedding, but guest have children so adult only isnt a option.

is this an adult only resort? this looks like a good alternative for me if dreams tulum stays closed.

my TA made some phone calls and said they should be up and running by next week. i was about to start making my invitations and now im holding off. i hate the feeling of being on standby. hey trisha, i just saw your planning thread, and you look sooooooooo beautiful!!! you did an awesome job on everything!! i got a little emotional when i saw you in the dress and i dont even know you in person! but these past few days, i have been really praying for you girls and i know on the your big day all that will matter is when you look into eachothers eyes and say "I DO", your loved ones will be there and it will all be fine! I feel very proud to be a part of the forum. the support is amazing!!!

In addition to the hotels already closed in Tulum, they are adding two names to the list that are under investigation: Rancho Jaguar and Caleta Tankah. It seems also from one thing I read that they have also closed places called Mayan Grill and Ibera Playa Paraiso. The attorney for Profepa did also say that they are giving all the hotels some time and are not immediately closing them permanently. i agree with all the girls!!! i asked the same questions re: resort photographer and i kept going back and forth with this!! but someone said to me in another post to cut out the photographer in the ultimate package and take the credit and add it to something else. so thats what im doing! the pics will stay with you and you will pass it down to your children and there children!
