Hmmmm, i'm upset nobody has responded coz i've been wondering the exact same thing!! Our ceremony is also at 4pm. Is anyone else just leaving a gap so they can take piccy's without missing their own cocktail reception?? That's what I'm tempted to do since half our guests will be in the pictures. Here's my thoughts so far: 4:00pm - 4:30pm Ceremony 4:30 - 5:30pm Piccys 5:30pm - 6:30pm Cocktail Hr 6:30pm - 10:30pm Reception

I have a silly question...are those of you going with the chuppa option on the beach Jewish? Just wondering if it would be weird to use it coz i think it looks nice!! Also to chime in about footwear... we're getting married on the beach and both wearing flip flops. Heels are my nemesis so will not be making an appearance the whole time we're away!

What a perfect way to spend the last hour of the day! ) Are you ladies have your ceremony recorded on DVD?? I can't decided if i want to spend the $$ to have this done or not. But i'm also worried i don't - i get home...and wish i had a DVD!!! Too many decisions..

So much activity!! Tam - your dress is beautiful!!! I think you'll fall in love with it again when you go to your fitting and they start making it "your" dress! Ok so the menu prices. While my fingers are clearly crossed the cheaper option is correct, i doubt it very much. I think the prices on the website are old and that they do not include Tax & Tip. Whereas the prices in Toya's post (which is what i was quoted as well) are most likely correct but they include tax and tip which lessons the discrepancy a wee bit. Also they keep telling me they don't have 2010 prices for the cocktail hr. Has anyone been quoted anything for this? I'm definitely curious to hear what someone from Dreams says about it rather than my own interpretation!

Has anybody else ordered artificial flowers for their wedding cake? My resort wont let you put real ones on the cake due to heath and safety (sigh) but I'm having real flowers for everything else. Does anyone know of any good websites that would let me order just one or two flower heads for my cake? Thank you!

Nope, always been the 25th, ) Gift wise i have no idea. My bridemaids are my sisters so i want it be something they can keep that will remind them of my wedding day but I'm not sure what!! Perhaps jewelry of some description.. I think we're giving the boys engraved hip flasks and then parents we're drawing a blank. It's way to close to Christmas to be thinking double gifts for all these people! Poor planning on our part!!

Just to chime in with the deposit chat. We sent our CC info and forms back in January (in B&W) and they still haven't actually charged our card for the deposit. I've e-mailed a million times asking why they haven't taken the "deposit" and our WC said this doesn't happen till we arrive at the resort. Which is a strange kind of deposit in my opinion!
