I too am getting married at The Santa Fe in April. Its coming very quick! We are getting married on the beach at 4pm and dinner at the steakhouse. We decided to rent the disco from 8-11pm. The location of the beach ceremony kinda worries me being so close to the pools, but oh well. And they really should get more colors for color schemes. We are bringing our own chair sahes and tulle and such for decorating the 2 sticks they have for a chuppa! My colors are turquoise and white and will probably end up leaving all my decorations there, chair sashes included so i dont have to lug it all back. It will be only 40 but I think they could use them! Good luck planning!

Either at the Palace or Santa Fe, are you renting the disco for a few hours after the reception? What do you plan to do there? Im trying to decided if its worth it to rent it. I was told there couldnt be any decorating because it opens to the public at 11. Do you plan to have all your guests go there and you and hubby come and make a grand entrance? First Dance? If you wanna do a few speeches should it be done there? Or during dinner?? hmmmmm Trying to figure things out and would appreciate anything that you got! Oh my, why do i do this to myself! I just cant decide and well i better considering my wedding is in April! My colors are Turquoise and white and originally i wanted the gals to be in white dresses with turq sashes carrying turq parasols....the guys in white linen pants with turq shirts.... I will have white chair covers with turq sashes. Now i am thinking i want to throw in another color to kind of break up just the turq and white. I am thinking of throwing in Chocolate brown or a yellow but not sure where to throw it in! Was thinking of doing Turq dresses with Brown Sashes and Brown parasols.....or if i do yello turq dressws with yellow sashes and yellow parasols...but then what color of shirts do the guys wear They already have their white pants. I think i would also have turq and either brown/;yellow petals.... Should I just ditch the 3rd color? Help!

We just booked a priviate sunset cruise with CaboSanLucas Tours. The cruise is called Escape the Sun. We paid $40.50 per person. And includes dinner and open bar. The boat holds up to 200 people and is the same price if you opt for a public cruise. If you have 30 or more you can get the whole boat to yourself for the same price. Seems worth it to me!~ We have 30 ppl exactly right now, but we can always add more up tp 2-3 days before we board ( for food and booze count).

WOWSA!!! Thanks ladies!!! Looks like # 1 is the winner with ya'll! I would totally show a picture of me in the dress, but I am 9 months pregnant and well....u know, im sure u get it!!! I will admit when it came in last week I actually did try it on!!! LOL what a sight! Note to self: Dont try that again..... When I found the 1st dress it was between the 2....but i went with the first one because I found it for $150....Its a bridesmaids dress and I do love it! I was kinda sad cuz it didnt have a train..... I wanted jus a little train! So when i went to pick up the dress I saw the 2cd one again, and although i couldnt try it on....I still had a soft spot for it because I wanted SIMPLE...ELEGANT....Not a Bead on it!! sooooo I found it online for $250.....I had to do it!! 2 dresses for $ 400 ....not bad i thought!~ The sash on the 2cd dress will be white...... Soooo thats where the dilemma is.....I guess I wont decide until the 2cd dress gets here which will be Feb....Wedding is in April....PLUS I will hopefully lost my baby weight by then so I can get the full effect!~ Thanks again for all the responses!~ I will give the final verdict!!

Sweetie i soooo know how u feel! I too am now a 2 dress bride....its hard to decide...I have my 1st one in my closet but the 2cd one wont be here till Feb. So i will wait to deicded which one then..... I love the 2cd dress that u picked!!! And the way i justify my 2 purchases is, most brides spend a FORTUNE on their 1 dress! I spent $400 for 2!!!! I win!!

Hey fellow Brides! We are thinking about renting out the disco for a few hours for our wedding in April. Was wondering (hoping) someone may have some pictures of it....Not quite sure what to expect. Is there a mic? Can you use an ipod? If its somewhere where you can hold a few speeches, a few dances, with it still looking "weddingy"....Is anyone else doing this?? I have yet to contact Erika about this as I am just thinking but would love some feedback....Is it still $500 for a few hours i wonder? Im sure it could change.... We did this....We went to a registry and got the marriage license. Show proof of ID. Paid $ 80. for that. You have 3 months to use it. Then I just googles marriage commissioners in my area, and we found one that we just went to his house with our 2 witnesses and signed the papers....No formalities, we did have to say a few vows, but instead of smoochin we jus shook on it. That cost $50 the commisioner sent the license away for us. (registered it) We recieved a lil certificate right there, but had to order the "real" one from any registry. Hope this helps!

So i had originally wanted black linen pants with turquoise shirts....After all ur great advice I decided against black....Tan was an option but I didnt really want tan or browns cuz it wasnt in my colors!~Had to have black and Blue.... Soooo decided on white linen pants with these shirts....Plain turquoise shirts was just a little too loud and I really wanted some black..... What is your honest opinion?? Do these shirts go with the white pants?? Maybe its not very "weddingy"!?? Look cheap?? The lady dresses are black empire right below the knee with a blue ribbon (sash) tied around under the boob.....ladies r also carrying turquoise parasols.....

Hi ladies, I have a lil dilemma and was hoping for some input; May be silly but I just dontknow!!! My main color for my beach wedding in Cabo is turquoise, I am not sure if I should have black as the accent color or tan.... I think i want my bridesmaids in black dresses with turquoise flowers and perhaps a blue ribbon somewhere on the dress as an accent, and then the guys in black linen pants and turquoise shirts....Hubby would be in a white linen suit with turquoise shirt... Do u think its alright to have black on the beach?! Or should i have the ladies in turquoise dresses, and the guys in tan pants and turqoiuse shirts?? why cant i deicide?? I think I prefer the black but want to make sure black looks good on the beach! Thanks

I see u r from Canada as well~ I was in Le Chateau of all places and they had black, white and tan linen suits still~ All on sale as well...Yjey were actually pretty nice!! Not sure how much longer they will be in stores but doesnt hurt to check it out if u have around.

This happened to me.....Had one TAs info on all my STD's with her quote which i thought was pretty good, but then found it $200 cheaper!!! I told the TA and asked if she would price match but she said she couldnt and didnt know how the other agent found that price....Same supplier and everything...soooo I sent all my guests the new TA's info through email and phone calls. They all booked with the new one...That is alot of money. I felt bad for a second because the 1st one had been working with us for a few months, but what does she expect? If she would have matched it no problem....ahh well, thats the buisness I guess..... I did talk to the TA and she did understand~
