I just got a 50% off offer also... I plan on ordering a bunch, so It might be ok, i just need to design them! I'm thinking pink starfish for the gals and green palm trees for the guys. Someone on here had some awesome shirts. I think they were hot pink and black? I wish I could find them! I'm def not ready to order today or soon, so I will just start designing and keep an eye out for the next offer.

You say you like the layered ones, but that could still be incorporated into many different styles. Some people have layered boarding passes. You could do pocket folders (Cards & Pockets) or just simple panels. 150 invites is a lot tho. I would try to get some friends together for help or something.

I might go ahead and buy my parents tickets. Buying the airfare just makes it so official... I've put down some deposits... but its still not hitting me... I need to decide what FI and I are going to do. Ahhhh!!! $363 is pretty cheap. I don't think I've seen it that low. I have been checking tickets to Cancun almost daily since its been available for my wedding week and I just saw it got $363 today. Its been in the $500s for the most part so far... My wedding is May 23, 2009, so its about 10 months out. Should I just go for it and buy the tickets? Its like playing limbo or something. Another thing is that I'm not sure if we are going to stay in Mexico a couple extra days for a "honeymoon" yet... I tried reading all the fine print about changing flights... but its too much for me. I know all airlines are different and stuff so I will probably just call AA before I book. Is there any guideline as when is the best time to buy airfare?

To do a legal wedding, Dreams Resorts requires you to be there 4 days in advance. The country of Mexico only requires 2 days I think. You have to do blood work and apostile documents for the legal ceremony so some people get legaly married in their hometown and do a symbolic ceremony at their resort. That is one way around the 4 day policy. They still want you there a couple days in advance to go over details tho. I need to be at Dreams Puerto Aventuras on a Wednesday for my Saturday wedding.

oh goodness... That is just a tough situation! At this point, someone just needs to be a bitch and tell Anne something! Did she receive an invite? Could you tell her its an intimate event? Elope? Someone is going to get hurt whatever you do. You just need to get it taken care of. I would even hand it off to your mom. If she put her on the list and then decided against it... Its her fault this is happening.

I am finishing my BA in sociology in about 4 weeks... I have no idea what I want to do for a living so if anyone wants to give me some advice I would love to hear it!!! I would like to work in social services or for the government... but its hard to get a job like that around here...

Are you talking about the new one called Rivera Maya cancun or something? I don't think that one opens til sometime late next year... There is also Puerto Aventuras, the old sunscape. I am getting married there. I really love the location which is why I choose it. It doesn't open til November.

I also love shutterfly. They used to give away free stuff like crazy, so I am loaded with books that I've made. I love the leather 8x11s I love the 8x8s, the little 5x7s are okay, good for brag books or something. Thinking about it... I love shutterfly because everything I have gotten was free. I don't think I would pay $30 for any of their books... So I guess my opinion is if your getting it for free or only paying shipping, take it. If you actually have to pay for it, then try something else? Dunno... I can give some pointers on how to get a code...

The one thing that I liked from elf is this cheek/blush stuff that comes in a tube and is shimmery...

Are your people big on night life? or do the ruins interest them? Does a 1.5 hour drive sound ok to you? DT will cost less that DC. Do you want to be in the touristy area or away from it?
