Best foundation etc for photos
Bianca replied to futurerana's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I plan on using Make up Forever HD foundation. Its supposed to give medium coverage but I seriously feel like I am not wearing anything! That stuff is soooo light. I am still trying to get the right shade. I am going to Sephora tomorrow to test a couple more out and get a sample. Regarding MAC. I personally love everything MAC and have at least 50 eye shadows with a bunch more stuff, but I do not think their foundation is the best per say... A lot of people tend to break out with it. I also think that you really have to know how much to apply and how to apply it. If you don't put on the right amount you really look like you have a mask on. With the MUFE HD foundation I feel like you can really pack it on and it still feels and looks natural. Anyways... Both MAC and Sephora give free samples of things like foundation. I would suggest going in to both and having them try things out on you and see what you like and then ask for a sample in your shade and go home and try it out for a day or two and see how it looks in the day light, if your skin breaks out, how the coverage is, etc. -
I think all of us brides from the US are very fortunate to be able to choose how we want to deal with the Swine. For me, all my guests are flying American Airlines on either May 20 or 21 and at the moment they are only letting people change flights who travel through the 16th. Because of this, canceling is not an option for us at THIS moment. Even if they do allow changes for the dates we are traveling, I strongly feel that we will not change anything. like istephiez said, it would be near impossible to find another date that works for all of our guests. Given that there are no reported cases in the Quinterra Roo state, I do not feel that my health is at risk and if for any chance any of us do experience any of the symptoms, its just the flu. If treated, it is not life threatening. I am sure all of us have had the flu at some point in our lives. We will be talking Tamiflu with us as a precaution. I think that is basically it. The fact that they raised the pandemic alert level to a 5 freaked me out some, but Obama reassured me tonight I will be in Mexico 21 days from now enjoying guacamole and margaritas as I lay out in the sun!

Ahhhh!!! They raised the pandemic level to a 5. What exactly does this mean? Are they going to stop all travel. I think I am about to start worrying... http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/04/29...flu/index.html I guess I am late... This has already been reported... I will go do my catching up now... Long day at work!

But you can't put a price on people's health, I'd never forgive myself if somebody got sick during our trip. My wedding is on the same date. No one is freaking out yet, but I think I might be hearing something from FI's grandma this weekend... She was already hesitant to travel to Mexico. All I know is that as long as I am allowed to fly to Mexico, I will be there! I think its horrible that tour operators in Canada have completely canceled the flights. Its not like its something the government decided. I hope all the brides affected still get the perfect day they have dreamed about.

I think I am pretty a lone on this... but here I go. We have about 3 weeks til we leave for Mexico, so I feel that I have time before I need to worry. I am not stressing about this (maybe I should be). I think its too soon to worry about what could happen in the next 3 weeks. I really do feel like things will be better by then. But I guess thats it... I am just going to wait it out and see what happens.

(it has to do with the occupancy level of the resort)

Let me know if you want her email... Shes popular, so a quick google would probably pull it up too.

Regarding this topic... I picked up about 16 20oz Bubba Kegs and 6 34oz Bubba Kegs from Target on clearance. Only the royal blue ones were on clearance. There were between $3.48 and $4.48 (Regular prices being $6.99 and $9.99) in price a piece. A bit pricy... but my point is: FI makes fruit smoothies every morning to take to work. He puts them in a Bubba Keg. One morning he forgot it and when he came home his smoothie was still nice and frosty. He enjoyed it for dinner. It isnt exactly 80 degrees in our house or any thing, but I think a drink would hold up nicely in a Bubba Keg til you finished it in hot weather.

You do not get many points by just reading threads. You get points by actively participating on the forum like posting and replying to posts. 75 points should be enough to dl one more attachment. I would recommend reading the threads about how points work. Also--- The profile function on this forum is disabled. -

I had the top package and after my deposit, the additional cost based on some of the stuff we added was about $2600. All the chairs had covers on them I didn't ask. We tipped the guy at the front desk $100 to make sure he gave everyone rooms together and Jacy another $100 to make sure the vollyball net was down and there were no people hanging out near the gazebo. I had the put the chairs and the tables facing not the middle of the gazebo but the right so that the hotels didn't come out in the background. If you book a honeymoon suite you get preferred club access which means you get free net. Everything came out great. Thanks for checking in!!! Enjoy your honeymoon!

I just finished my first week in Family Services and I am so worried (already!!!) that I won't be able to handle it. I speak Spanish and most of our clients, like 80%, speak Spanish so I hear a lot more of what is going on than other workers who do not speak Spanish. I hurt for clients that cannot receive any benefits. I think I may have picked the wrong career, but I really want to help people. I see some workers who are not too pleasant with workers and I just wonder if I will be like that one day. I really think this is what I want to do, but I'm not sure I can do enough to help the clients in Family Services. Maybe I need to look into some non-profits in this area or something. Another thing that gets to me is when I see immigrants who have only been here a couple years and are struggling to just get some food. It makes me wonder if my parents were ever in that situation when they first came to the US like 25 years ago. It makes me feel so grateful for what they sacrificed for our family. In the end... I think its definite that working in CPS is something that I would never be able to handle. Thats something I really thought that I wanted to do, but given that this is hard enough, no way I can handle CPS. I know immigration may be a hot topic, but I am not trying to start any debates or anything. I just need some encouragement that my job will be rewarding in some way or that it will get better.
